Totally agree about the song styles and language! Let's hope someone from Platinum Records is listening! A ballad or pop-folk song in Greek would be nice. Please no dance pop song with bad English. :? I am sort of hopeful it will not be dance, only because of the names of Freaky Fortune and Mark Angelo in the mix. They will probably have some dance-infused songs, so I am hoping MAD/Panik/Platinum want at least some variety in the NF and wont have Martakis with a dance song too. But then again, I read a rumor that Dimitris Kontopoulos may be writing for him, so that could go either way. :?

If Kontopoulos is writing the song of Martakis, then you can expect "Hold Me #2". Well, better than having another "This is our night", but I'd be OK with Martakis only if he sings in Greek (which is only 1% possible)...

And let's hope that he will be with dance song too, so only Krystallia will have a ballad, and she will stand out, so she will win.

The song of Kostas Martakis is composed by Ilias Kozas (leading singer of Koza Mostra,ESC 2013).
Its full in Greek,uptempo,with rockish & balkan influences.

This is not a bad option at all
But will Martakis want to go to ESC with such song? I think that he'd aiming to be the "Eric Saade" of the year, having all the girls voting for him, and this is easier to be achieved with singing a dance-pop song in English, or a pop ballad again in English.

The broadcaster is letting MAD TV organize the selection process again this year. That means that MAD TV is responsible for finding a way to cover the costs of the recordings, selection process, etc. Presumably, the record label that agreed to a deal this year (Panik/Platinum Records) and the sponsors involved think that a 4 act national final is worth their money, rather than an internal selection.

I've heard few more entries of Freaky Fortune, and now I find them promising a lot!! I hope their entry will be in their usual style! I knw it's not easy to present that genre very well on the stage, in live version, but I hope.. And I hope that rapper Risky Kidd featuring them, is a good one.

According to the programing schedule for DT as well as OGAE Greece, the songs will be previewed on March 5th during the show "Epikairotita" sometime between 11:30-12:30 local time. The same day, there will be a special half-hour show hosted by Adriana Magania to properly present the songs and artists to the public at 19:30 local time.
