Re: GREECE 2012

Who told you that Ganos is the first candidate? I have heard that ERT rejected both Foureira and Ganos!

By the way, Eleni Foureira would be awesome! She knows how to dance, how to sing live, how to be a performer! And maybe with Eurovision, she will have the chance AT LAST to admit that she's Albanian, to get points from Albania!

I like Ganos too, he's got some amazing songs like Break Me, This Love Is Killing Me, Kita Ti Ekanes and Pos Boris! He's a great performer too, but I don't know if he's a good live vocalist! There's a rumor going around internet that he's Albanian too, but I don't think so!

Eleni is Albanian??

Why admit? If she feels Greek, she's Greek. Should others define what she feels or what?

Nationality is not in the blood, it's in the brain and loyalty, in the culture and mindset.

Yes ethnic may be connected to blood but that would be like saying "oh if you are black you will never be Swedish no matter how Swedish you might feel/act".

Anyways Eleni would indeed be a good choice! :)

Re: GREECE 2012

From what I've read, the artist will come from Universal Music as they are the only label willing to provide the funding ERT is asking for.

Of the artists signed to Universal, these have apparently expressed interest/are likely to be put forward for participation:

Kostas Martakis
Professional Sinnerz
Konstantinos Argyros
Panagiotis Tsakalakis
Malou
Eleftheria Eleftheriou

^
Kostas & Desislava (Bulgarian entry) have made a duet together, would this be the first time previous duet partners would enter Eurovision at the same time (if both of them will enter that is)?

The mentioned names look very promising... It would be nice, if one of them would represent Greece 2012.

Am i dreaming if I say I'd like to see Mixalis back in Eurovision for Greece? He was supposedly asked to participate in 2007 and 2010 and he accepted but then he refused...He is one of the singers from Universal Greece...pleaseeee

Re: GREECE 2012

I have a feeling that Greece this year will have a crappy song..:(
if this happens, then i would prefer better songs to qualify in the Grand Final.

He's not interested in Eurovision anymore I think. He sometimes makes ironic comments on how the contest became now... But if he decides to participate, I want him only for Cyprus. Greece has hundreds of other singers, why should they take the Cypriot ones? LOL

From that list, I like Malou. She's got an amazing voice, and she's a fresh face in the music scene! Martakis would be a great choice, but I don't think Greece wants to risk by sending him. What if he wins?
