Becouse i know the artists that the only label wants to take part to esc..there are few hopes for a good song like last year..Why???
The greeks just dont care about eurovision...they dont give a sh%t.Maybe the ratings will be good (IF Greece is in the Grand Final)Do you think Greece actually want to win in 2012? Can they afford it?

The problem with Greece is that our broadcaster do whatever it needs to destroy high ratings of esc..Well, that is what a lot of broadcasters dream of. But I see your point, the situation in Germany and other Big5 countries (except Italy) is similar.
In the 00's Greece did an okayish job for my taste but I really like the path they opt for for the last two years. Watch my dance was very innovative, meaningful and musicwise decent. This will be hard to beat.

Greece is bookmaker's fave №1 to win ESC 2012
She should better stay at her home and change job!She is not a singer!
I WOULD GO TO EUROVISION TO WIN
Eleni Foureira became known to the Eurofans from her participation alongside Manos Pyrovolakis in the 2010 Greek national final. Two years almost later, she has been highly tipped to be the next Eurovision entrant for Greece especially after her smashing live performances at the MAD VMA 2010 and 2011.
Disappointing though were the statements of Eleni Foureira twice (on MAD TV and STAR Channel) that she would go to Eurovision only if selected internally (shocking all the fans for the arrogant statement she said).
Today Eleni Foureira was guest in the first morning show of the year on APHA TV saying that she would go to Eurovision to win! (she is very optimistic I might say). On the other hand she claims she has received a proposal from ERT (hmm I better keep my mouth shut it’s New Year’s Day and have to be good man).
From inside information oikotimes.com knows that there is no chance to see Eleni in the 2012 Greek national final though.

greece and ukraine were always in my top 3.. But last year greece had worse song.. I hope kalomira will be back.
That is not true!! I saw her interview today! She said ERT hasn't made any official proposal to her but she said she really wants to go. She also said that if she finds a song that is a winner she will contact ERT and ask them to be the representative!Today Eleni Foureira was guest in the first morning show of the year on APHA TV saying that she would go to Eurovision to win! Kalomira was something unique for Greece,Neither was Kalomira and she became 3rd.
Eleni has a great team of producers around her and she'd be my first pick for Greece this year.
