Re: GREECE 2012

She has said that in the past, but she hasn't completely ruled it out again. She admitted that she would enter MF if the song and timing were right, but she rather do something else like write a song. As GRE said, she said a few days ago that she had a proposal for this year too.

Re: GREECE 2012

Nomisma is once again rumored to enter the NF with a song called "Nicko". I don't understand why their name comes up every year. They don't seem like anything special, and they aren't very popular.

The song they are rumored to enter with is online:

I have heard about Nomisma, they have a song that I kinda like. But this song "Nicko" is just stupid and awful!

Aren't they a rock band? Why they don't make a song like this one? It's not bad, although nothing special again:

Oh you will, it's not like the diaspora has all out of sudden disappeared

Well, jokes aside, you had some pretty good entries through the years, I guess in a sense you got your fair revenge when televoting was introduced, since juries did indeed overlook some pretty good Greek entries in the past.

Re: GREECE 2012

Some days ago she admited that this year Sweden proposed her to enter Melodifestivalen, but she denied.

Offcourse she denied, she doesn't give a *

And why would MF need her songwriting skills? She's hardly written any of her English material as far as I'm concerned.

Anyways, Sweden more or less forgot about her, she gave up on her career here so no need to enter MF, she's not really missed, only mr. Björkman tends to bother by sending proposals to her every year, but he is a joke anyways. His mind is always 5 years behind.

She knows she can't win Melodifestivalen.. Actually I don't mind if Helena comes back for Greece but I want my KALO more than her

^ Why do you hate her so much?

I don't hate her at all, I just dislike her attitude towards Sweden that's all.

In general my opinion about her is indifferent, I liked some of her stuff, I supported her win in ESC 2005 (although not my first pick) and I rooted for Antique in 2011 (and I think they were robbed).

She might win MF but NOT Eurovision. I used to be the one that wanted her most to represent Sweden in ESC. But now I'm not sure I want her to do that. I'm 50-50...

^I don't think that she can win.. Even Carola couldn't win MF in 2008.. I don't think that Sweden in love with Helena also there are always better names in Melodifestivalen.

But I'd prefer Helena if Sweden would send something like Anna Bergaskfnsjfnjsnfs (2010)

Carola didn't win in 2008 because she had her chance in 2006 and did pretty good actually. And One Love wasn't such a great song. It would have been better without Johnson!

Anna Bergendahl is our best entry in a VERY LONG time! Couldn't care less if it flopped, only "Det Gör Ont" was better in the past decade, but they made it crap with a bad translation though.

Helena Paparizou has the right idea in staying away from ESC. She has done it twice, successfully even, and that's enough. She should just move forward with the career she has.

I agree about Anna, I just cannot understand, even 2 years after, why oh why it stayed out of the final? I just cannot get it!

Really? We already know why. However, I would love to have something like Timoteij from Sweden. Maybe a bit more mature but overall their Kom was quite good. Alternatively real rock would be interesting but this never takes part in Melodifestivalen unfortunately.

Edit: But oh well, it is the Greek thread. Let us get back to Greeks (and hopefully they will not consider Swedes) then. :geek:

Re: GREECE 2012

Greece is one of my most favourite ESC countries. I expect another great entry from Greece in 2012 :)
