This is so awsome! I like Danny speaking in German! And I think that when they meet in Liverpool they will have fun hanging out together! They could compare whose hair is longer? It is great to have great bands as Voyager and LOTL representing the countries! Was this one posted here?
Danny from Voyager congratulates LOTL in German! In Hamburger dialect. *dies in glitter*
Voyager on Instagram: "Hey it's @danny_voyager here shouting out from Australia! We just wanna say congratulations to @officiallordofthelost on being selected to represent Germany at the @eurovision this year. As fellow metalheads, we're always excit

Now that Ikke is gone, our place is moved from hell to heaven. Unless Satan gives us another visit, this place might become quiet. Can we reach 200 pages before the Final? I think we can do it. Does anyone know what the highest number of pages for an entry was before?

From what I can tell UK 2014 is in the lead with 371 pages on the day before grand final, with UK 2015 behind at 239 pages and Sweden 2012 in third place with 233 pages. Can we reach 200 pages before the Final? What the hell did Molly do to warrant 371 pages?????From what I can tell UK 2014 is in the lead with 371 pages on the day before grand final, with UK 2015 behind at 239 pages and Sweden 2012 in third place with 233 pages.

It shows that subconsciously Mainshow is an Ikke-Fan, not a LOTL-Fan. He can finally admit it.Ikke isn't gone, he lives on in the signature of @Mainshow
I know UK 2014 was a big favourite but what massive chaos has happened for it to be number one. UK 2015 is understandable but how did Molly manage 371 pagesFrom what I can tell UK 2014 is in the lead with 371 pages on the day before grand final, with UK 2015 behind at 239 pages and Sweden 2012 in third place with 233 pages.
EDIT: Oops, it seems that it was Sweden 2014 in 2nd place with 324 pages!

I agree with you completely, also what you said about Trong and L. Spring. I think actually that these acts elevated their songs with their staging a lot. I enjoyed them a lot. Anica was good, but I have to admit that I didn't like the grass at all, should have been flowers. As for Will, yes, he had great vocals, but his song actually along with Ikke was at my bottom. And René ... I liked his studio version a lot (especially with the powerful chorus), but his staging downgraded every good part. I had the feeling that he was concentrating on his balance than on his singing. He could have made it so much better. Besides having rooted for LOTL from the start, they had the best package, I think!Okay, so after recovering from the shock of the bad sound mixing and some apparent In-Ear-Problems, my thoughts on our national final have actually become more positive. I will share in the order of appearance, but I put the Spoiler thingy because it's a lot of text and I don't want to annoy anyone. If you are interested though, I'd be happy if you read it anyway
Trong - He actually might have had the slickest stage performance when it comes to the presentation (minus the vocals) and it actually elevated the song most of the time (sometimes it was also a little cringy). I am very happy that he got some appreciation from the juries, cause he deserved it (even though the public vote towards the bottom was also justified because it's just not a song one could vote for. Too generic for that).
René Miller - Damn I reaaally want to see the dress rehearsal for this one, where he performed without the rock. I can only imagine that it was way more interesting than watching him stand on that rock for eternity. I also think it makes sense that he was placed so high from the juries, because that's the rehearsal they got to see to judge the acts. And his song is arguably very well produced and, while radio friendly, still very good and in my humble opinion also memorable.
Anica - I am gutted for Anica because of the televote result, she truly didn't deserve to be so low. There were some minor faults with her performance, but I still believe that she was one of the best options we had and her staging package was actually really promising. With some tweaks (use flowers, not grass; do more with the LED screen; less wide camera shots) and a little less nervousness she could have been a real standout on the eurovision stage. It was maybe not 100% the best performance of the night, but if that wasn't a top 3 worthy performance, I don't know what was. I guess the fan-fear of Ikke did not work in her favor.
Lonely Spring - I was positively surprised by the staging, one of the best packages in my opinion. Sadly, the energy and savagery of the vocals got a bit lost though and therefore it unfortunately didn't 100% work for me, but definitely still a good entry.
Will - His high note was a bit meh but other than that I am pretty sure he was the best vocal of the night and the song, while not being a good choice for televote, might actually get some points from the juries at Eurovision, so I understood the jury for putting him first. Even though not by such a large margin as he got on the night.
Patty - Damn, that headset mic didn't do her any favors and neither did the staging. I rewatched her performance a couple of times and I truly don't think her vocal was as bad as some people here seem to think. I think the bad mixing did a lot to make it seem worse than it was, though with the production we got, I also can't blame anyone for thinking it was that bad. I really wonder why she went for the staging that she ended up choosing. The root-thing around her dress could actually have been a good idea if anyone had known how to properly make it stand out, but like that it was mostly useless and even constricting Patty in using the stage. I really don't understand either why that dress and that hairstyle was chosen, and why on earth she didn't use a windmachine like she said she would. She has massive potential for a great ESC stage performance some day tho.
Ikke - Actually I ended up thinking the song was super fun and I enjoyed his performance. That's an incredible feat because I really didn't think I could ever like it before the night. So props for that but yeah, I am happy that someone else won. No offense. But he did the best possible things to make me enjoy him a little.
Lord of the Lost - A deserved winner, although by far not my personal preference. They are a band that needs a big stage to get to their full potential live, but their staging was sublime, so they came as close as possible to truly shine on a way too small stage. Great job, he hit all notes, they served energy, everything seemed very professional, where others seemed a bit shy or overwhelmed at times. It truly shows that they are on bigger stages a lot. Now I want even grander styling and staging for the Eurovision stage, but I am confident that that's exactly what we'll get. I just wish we'd get a revamp because it sounds dated (even for metal) at times to me and I am missing a true wow-moment or a bit more "hardcore" elements.
Well I was told to „geh mal raus!“, when I said that I don’t like the song. Which is for me just a somewhat nice way of saying „fuck off!“I agree but I honestly read no one here that attacked someone harshly "Why don’t you like Blood & Glitter?" (Or I must have missed it.)
I'm truly surprised that of all threads this one was mentioned because I believe we're all very well aware that Germany will not suddenly be top contender or Blood & Glitter is THE BESTEST of best songs. On the contrary, some of us, including me, even said it isn’t even LOTL's best song. I think we‘re Germans are very modest when it comes to our song, after all the disasters in the last years. We‘re just happy and celebrating LOTL was chosen.
This isn't as glam rock/metal as it portrays itself in my opinion.
