Well, Germany has rightfully dodget a bullet with Ikke and the slice of Asda homebrand white bread with Will Church and made the most competitive option they had open to them. That said, I absolutely loathe this song with a burning passion. Didn't like it before, and definitely don't now.

I think Germany made the right choice after seeing the show tonight, however I don't think the song is strong enough to make it competitive for the contest. Vocally this wasn't great either. Will this get a decent number of televote points? Indeed. Will this end up in top 10? No way.

Gonna be honest - I didn't think anything was that great tonight, even things I liked the studio of. LotL probably were the best choice of this selection, but realistically I can't see this doing particularly well in the televote when much more impactful entries are going to be right there. This should avoid a 0 televote situation, but LotL bombing with the international juries (as we probably expected) isn't a great sign for May.

This could contend for last place. Hopefully not. But Germany haven't quite dug themselves out of the hole they've been in since 2019.
