I was such a fan on the Voice and we were so high in the betting odds when the finalists of our NF were revealed and this fall .. It just really confuses me. I don't think the song is bad, I think it's great and we do stand out. But somehow .. it all goes wrong and not the way I predicted it to be. :(

The odds even went up a bit after Jamie won the national selection. I'm confused too. What happened inbetween ULfS and now? Did I miss something? In my opinion everything just got better: her outfit, her staging, her vocals, everything. I truly doubt my Eurovision love :D

It's really hard to stay positive during the Eurovision season. After last year I thought it couldn't get worse but the week hasn't even properly started yet and still so many things are hard for the German entry: the odds say we are most likely to finish last, then the press and fans are not really keen on us and now we drew a place in the first half of the Grand Final.

Last year I promised myself that I won't get attached to any German participant again, because I don't want to be as disappointed as last year. And now this. Same situation with Jamie-Lee. At this point I'd be happy with any placement except the last spot. And I'm still going to wave that Jamie-Lee-flag proudly. Weird ESC addiction

Lenny, I can understand and feel your thoughts and emotions, every single piece of it. I feel quite similar myself. xrunhug

Germany has been always somewhere in my top 10 since I started watching Eurovision (2011) and Ghost is currently my number 3. Nicht die Hoffnung verlieren, lieben Nachbarn! Ich hoffe wir geben Ihnen einige Punkte.

Gosh, I really need to catch up with my German.. :geek:

I wouldn't be surprised if Jamie-Lee doesn't even know the relevance of the starting position. At least she didn't look disappointed earlier.
They will have to tell her...

Well, Amir even asked "Should I be happy now" :D But I guess most of them know that a late position is better, they just dont want to show their disappointment

Well, she wouldn't say "Oh, that's fucked up. I'm out this shit.", would she?

We have to get starting position 9.

Why?

Austria 2014, 11th
Sweden 2015, 10th...

The one who gets the 9th position wins :D
