Although I stated I like the chosen song, it would be nice to have either Santiano or Unheilig in ESC, both had very nice songs IMO and would be something more interesting for ESC. But still, I like the chosen song so I'm not complaining at all. If one of these two were chosen, though, Germany would have been higher in my ranking, that's for sure.

Yeah, booing at Unheilig, even if you don't like the songs (I don't), is not cool. The audience gotta do better than that.

She wouldn't win, Germans would booh her as well. We're that classy.............

They should just send Unheilig internally next year. He should have won tonight. He had to suffer that dreadful mob mentality. It actually still makes me angry thinking about it and has put a damper on Elaiza's win. I like the song but I don't like why it won.

Or you can send And One internally xheat

I think this is why I feel a bit sour towards the result..

I was like "Way the hell are you booing, 10 minutes ago you all went crazy about them!"
I'm Not a Fan of unheilig, Not at all but I would never do what many others in the Arena did. It was a weird situation.

Yeah, i'm sour as well. I need to remember not to be angry with Elaiza as she's lovely and i'm delighted for her. That German audience tonight were disgraceful though. I want to forget about it but i'm finding it difficult to.

I feel the same way. Elaiza is incredibly likeable and I would be happy for her (even if the song is sucky) but considering the circumstances I am not feeling the love at all. I'm very much against mob mentality and to me tonight Germany hit a new low in Eurovision with that behavior. In my opinion it should not be rewarded.

I've decided to give Elaiza a 10 for now as i'm a bit annoyed. I'm likely to change it to a 12 in the future though as I find this to be one of the best songs in a pretty unremarkable year.

I must say despite the booing Germany proved tonight they're the best at hosting these things

It's unfortunate for artists when their fans/supporters choose to act in such a way. It doesn't do the artist any favours what so ever. Anyone with a heart and a conscious wouldn't find tonights behaviour acceptable. I've just gotta look past this all as I actually think the winning song is pretty great and wonderfully bombastic.

The song style is very good... I like the style, I love her voice, but the song kind of bored me. Her performance looked like she was half a sleep... Hopefully she has a livlier performance in Copenhagen.. If not I do not see this being a shoe in for the coveted price...

I rate this a 7/10!

BTW, when I clicked in the link it gave me a website about Canadian Diabetes...

The booing of part of the audience was indeed substandard, but I feel some people here overrate it a little. It's not the first time Unheilig got boo'ed. I remember when they entered the BSC it was even worse (and they won that event). The main problem, as I see it, is that Unheilig has always been an act that divides the people. It starts with the songs, some like them, others downright hate them. The Graf's acted demeanor surely also plays a part, because some perceive his noblesse as arrogant. And Unheilig's success certainly fuels the haters' wrath even more. And tonight, as controversal as they are, they compete in the superfinal as the big favourites against three charming female newcomers, the underdogs and the people's choice from the preselection. Is it so surprising that some tampers run hot? It was certainly neither a nice nor a right thing to but there is something about Unheilig that provokes the people.
