It's a decent entry. 8 points. Will probably fight for the same votes as UK and Italy though. Interesting final for sure!

Germany really disappointed by booing the favorite. That certainly is going to "help" them getting established acts involved. Ugh, but you reap what you sow in May.

BTW, I checked the poll 11 of the 14 12 pointers came from Germany. It's like the British thread all of the sudden.

Omg that made me laugh xrofl We're kindred spirits in eurovision. Just like we are with Spain.

they only won cause Germany hates favorites
it wasn't really a decision for Elaiza, it was more like that we germans wanted a conformation that we have the power and that we can pull an upset.unbelivable how the audience could boo Unheilig out.. xfacepalm
anyway the song is okay, 6 points from me

Good song? ?

You know it's subjective. ;) For me, I liked it at the first hearing. And I'm glad they won, because they embodie what I like in the contest : young fresh acts who do something new.

You only sent Cascada last year so I don't think Germany hates favourites ;)
yeah and what did the audience? they booed Cascada out
it's like a revenge for last years decision, we've done everything to pull the upset

No I mean do you like the song or do you think they deserved to win because they are young and new?

If you like the song then good for you you, fair enough... but only supporting something based on whether it's someone new or not?

Sorry, not tyring to be disrespectful but the majority of 12 pointers came from our British members.

I don't think its disrespectful, I genuinely found it funny.

Santiano would still be the best choice imo, but this is good as well. I'm happy the German voters didn't let Unheilig win just because it's Unheilig. Both of their songs sounded really bland and it was quite funny when they were showing the recap of both songs, you couldn't tell the songs apart.

Yes and then the media will talk about "disaster" and stuff like this and the german people will grumble to other countries for don't giving them/us points
Finally ARD will desperately call Stefan Raab and beg him to take charge in the next years :D

Everyone has their own reasons for supporting a song. You often support based on language or whether you consider it "fresh". Personally, It's a good song but not great. It'll easily get in my top 10...with a few listen maybe top 5.

It is...fine. Adecuate. Honestly, I was expecting a disaster because since I have memore I learned to be afraid to accordions in the Eurovision stage, but this one was...OK The live performance really, REALLY needs to improve but overall, I kinda see what they were aiming to.

6 points.

Looks like she's going to start a revolution or something in that gif.

Well, I'll be all for a people's revolution in ESC bringing the end of juries' dictatorship, lack of transparency and stupid voting system to an end!!!

Nooo, keep your NF as it is. Tonight was unreal in its quality but as is always the way, the best NFs don't have the best winners
