And went for a different flop?

Sorry but they had Santiano in a pirate ship and didn't vote for that?

We can agree on that for sure. Santiano were clearly the best.

Re: GERMANY 2014

On the bright side the UK might actually be the most successful Big 5 country this year xshock

I imagine they were simply booing the established act over the underdog. I wouldn't have done that myself, but I respect their choice to do it.

You respect that? I think it's pathetic behavior... why would someone boo an act just because they are established... I hate underdog kitsch stuff... he/she/they who have the best song should win not some sort of underdog-mob-mentality... in Sweden we call it "jantelag".

Well at least I don't have to root for Germany this year. Worst German song since the No Angels, I'm officially 100% American until after May 10th.

Seriously, this is bad.....really bad.

Yes, but we know your dark secret, you German swine! :p

Fiddler would've been a sure-fire success in May but I guess we'll never get to see that happen...

Like I said, I wouldn't do it myself. I think it is a little disrespectful, but It doesn't really bother me that much. That probably comes from the wrestling fan in me

1st listening

i don't know...

personally, i say it's ok.
not sure how it will do in esc tho. i'm thinking it might get lost during the big night, especially during recaps. still, with a good draw it might do decently.
i would say top 15 is really the top for this, but then again, what do i know; everything is "maybe top 15" for me this year so...xrofl2

i'll give it a 6

I'm happy in a sense to see the underdog do well - clearly, they were thrilled about it, and they're good personalities who perform well. I just find the song to be a bunch of nothing, though, and in a huge sea of better entries that could have succeeded at ESC, I really don't think this was a wise choice...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I liked Elaiza, but suddenly I 'm sad they won!! :( :(

I'm sad as well. I thought it was so certain Unheilig would win. This year has been such a bad one for my tastes. I was looking forward to Unheilig saving the day for me. I really like "Is It Right" but I have kind of an empty feeling right now. It's really strange. A great song has just won and I should be happy but I feel weird. If MarieMarie won I think i'd have felt a lot better.

I need to put Unheilig aside for one moment though and just look at the bigger picture. Elaiza won, a surprise but "Is It Right" is wonderful and Probably enters my top 3 songs of the year. I said when she performed it that is was giving me "winner vibes"xqueenbitch

I just can't get over Der Graf. I won't see him at Eurovisionxcry1 Plus i'm angry about the reception he received. That audience were dreadful.

So it's a personality contest then? xshrug
