I'll be sitting next to you in spirit, also hoping for Fiddler on the Deck. It would probably face some competition for my #1 if Blame It On The Disco and Silent Storm are chosen, but I think it'd win out... really hoping to see it in Copenhagen. Then again, I want to see over half of these songs in Eurovision this year; come on, EBU, can we just let Germany send five songs this year or something?

Oceana's "Thank You" is all hipster and no hook. She's a great vocalist and seems very charismatic but aside from that she doesn't inrerest me much.

And I know that this next statement will probably now earn me some serious hatred, but my favourite from this selection is still "The Fiddler On The Deck" by Santiano. Utterly awesome - would easily be my 12 pointer if it was chosen. C'mon Germany - steal my 12 two years in a row

"Fiddler of the deck" is actually not a fav to win German NF at all..it's somewhere on the bottom of the favs in German NF.. :?

Everything else in Germana NF is "OK - AMAZING", only Santiano is monstrosity and they have to get rid of them for their good..

1. I love 'Fiddler on the deck', it's so different, a kind of a pirate song. This song is something Eurovision needs. It will differ from the entries we have so far.
2. Oceana, you know what I think. Pure love.
3. The Baseballs... I don't have to say anything. I love their covers of popular pop songs. This is a masterpice. It's very they. I didn't know it was their song, I recognized them by listening to the song and then checked the name of the artist.


I have a feeling that Germany will be high on my top list

I actually don't know how the votes will work yet. I'm hoping that whichever song you phone up and vote for counts for 1 vote to the artist and that they combine votes from both songs to pick their winner.

Hmmmm hold on, so each of them is going to sing two songs in the final? As far as i remember there's no semi whatsoever.
Sooo the winner will be determined by the overall number of votes and how is an artist supposed to decide which song is going to the ESC?
Or is it like that: an artist with the most votes wins and then they look at which song of this artist received more points to define an entry?

I find "Thank you" quite nice, nothing special. The other one is just ummmmmm not ok.
