Regardless, I think only the Big 5 could get it removed. The EBU has to pretty much bend over backwards for them otherwise they wouldn't have a contest

Its funny how the EBU relent with transparency in the votes, but then persists with this idiotic and non-fair system they have to pick the order. I hope for 2015 its gone. But with the major corruption in the EBU I doubt it will go :(

In what way are EBU transparent regarding the votes? So far they weren't willing to release the full split results by each country and they even made up lame excuses for not doing so xshrug

I mean they stated they will release it this year, but we'll see, I trust it when I see it xshrug

This whole order-picking idea which they got from the MF team and Björkman is just hurting the contest's credibility, I can't understand why they insist on using it once more. They could have easily put entries into genre pots or something instead which would bring the "mix" they pretend they want for the show, but still in a far more fair and trustworthy fashion xshrug

The funny thing is that in my opinion the mix in the final was much worse than in many other years despite the pre-determined draw

They claimed by using the allocated draw the final would be more balanced because there was no way we would get multiple ballads and slower songs at the beginning yet we pretty much ended up with that anyway xrofl

Seriously who thought music wise France, Lithuania, Moldova, Finland and Spain was the perfect top 5 to start the show  The only reason they were they was because they either had zero hype or the broadcaster personally just didn't care about them

And then you had all the hype entries that the broadcaster had no problem with near the end. The end of the show and it felt like everything melted together xshrug

Now it may have ended up the same way with a random draw but at least that would have been just pure luck instead of back room shenanigans ;). Countries drawing top half/bottom half and then letting the broadcaster choose everything else clearly didn't make a better show . It just made the results more predictable xdoh

I really expected a slower, more mediative song from "Das gezeichnete Ich".
Kinda like "Weil du da bist", but the title is too often repeated in the song imo.

I like it too and don't see repeating the title as a problem. Think it's a good ploy at Eurovision when you're singing in your native language. Worked well for Kedvesem; even better for Molitva.

Unheilig's song sounds very promising. I would have preferred something that was maybe more closer to electronic body music as I understand that is what they used to make... but this I think i'll end up liking very much.

And his voice is sexyxheat

From this snippet it sounds like the first song this year that could win Eurovision... but we'll have to see

That's what I was just thinking. I get that feeling when in my head I can hear the song played instrumental at the opening of the next contest. It's got one of those "winning" melodies. Seems uplifting and epic.. potentially poignant.

I like the music quite much, but I really dislike his voice, so I'm not sure about the whole thing.
