Not really surprised, the staging felt empty and monotonous, i expected something more similar to the video. Who's bright idea was it for her to be alone on stage? It was also too similar to several other stagings, where the artist also lied down on the floor for a bit. Vocals were good, but limited in range. Kinda sad for Georgia overall though, they never ever seem to qualify anymore...

My favorite eurovision country xcry

I even upgraded her into my top 10 because i don't appreciate the armenian dance break.

We have 11 NQ's and i can easily live with 10 of them, but i'm gutted for this one.:(

This is why you shouldn't give your artists only like 3-4 days to compose a whole song from scratch! With enough polishing this song could have been elevated much higher... xgaah and the staging. It was just too stiff, unfortunately. It needed dancers similar to the music video and much more camera cuts, and maybe even something more interesting with the floating fabrics in the wind... The hands on the leds were great, but otherwise even the visuals ended up being lackluster...

Georgia has been doing all sorts of things for the past 7 years and haven't qualified. I hope they keep trying, because this one had potential. But I'm not surprised if they stop. Idk.

Undo my sad.

My soul is a sinking ship now.

Thing is known.

At least this doesn't delete the song from existence. xdance

Georgia has two moods in Eurovision: one is "We don't give a fuck" which sometimes works (2016: and would have worked in 2020 and "Let's do fake drama with an excellent singer/s" (2013, 2023). I hope they will start approaching Eurovision without calculation ("let's be edgy") and just bring something they believe in.

Oooooh I feel so sorry for her that's heartbreaking

In all honesty I'm wondering what the mainstream Georgian music scene is like? Are their entries the Georgians listen to on a regular basis? It feel so.. out of place most of the time

I knew something wasn't right when all the songs I loved from this year were expected to comfortably qualify. It was too good to be true and my gut feeling was that Iru was the most in trouble. It was right

The song absolutely deserved the final but my worries with the staging became even stronger as I watched it live. It was just far too static for what is such a wild, dramatic entry. They had a great song here but for it to make the final they needed to go down a Young Georgian Lolitaz route and throw absolutely everything at the performance. Instead they were giving us Ralph Siegel era San Marino with the staging and styling. This needed movement, it needed dancers, dynamic shots.

I'm gutted I lost my number 1 of the year and it just had to be Georgia, the one who really, really needed to catch a break. I hope Iru feels very proud of what she has achieved as honestly she was sensational.

Song: good
Vocals: very good
Staging: decent

Looks good right? Sure, but you just got bodied by Armenia, Lithuania and Estonia who were all just a bit better and even then there was space but unfortunately for Georgia Albania got their shit together right as the jaws fell shut.

Georgia did nothing wrong except for slightly underwhelming staging really. They are just unlucky. In most years this song would just qualify, but we have a year where there just isn't a lot of drivel.

I'm absolutely gutted for Georgia and Iru. I absolutely loved this. It looked and sounded so epic but also simple.

For me it was a good thing that it was so reduced.
