The staging was very good (probably one of the best thiis year) and his performance was good but the song itself was the worst so the NQ is not surprise. I know that some people may love it but for the majority this song is just terrible. Fair NQ.

The staging is everything for this song. It elevated the song and the performance. It had the right amount of visual and vocal drama. It was beautiful. I had an inkling that it might be a borderline qualifier, but was not surprised that it did not go through. I think it might have ended up a bit too intimidating to people.

Tumblr, mostly.
Ever wanted to imagine what it's like to go through two hours of longwinded foreplay, only to engage into five minutes of intercourse after which your partner has an orgasm and ABRUPTLY ends the sex before you can have your own? Don't worry, Georgia has you covered in that department!!!

Besides the very militaristic feel (which isn't my thing), Keep On Going's most pressing problem was pacing. It just takes way too long to build up to a climax which last less than 20 seconds total. At least the memory of the mental blue balls this gave me is erased by Deep Space Katie polevaulting into my life within the next minute anyway.

Hmmm I was surprised at how good this was staged to be fully honest with you. The song itself is still not my cup of tea but his vocals were on point and the whole performance really felt like a story being told. I never thought I would say this but I`m kinda sad that this missed out. Song-wise a deserved non-qualification though.

Song: 2/12
Performance: 7/12
Vocals: 10/12
Overall: 6/12
Semi Ranking: 4 out of 17

Given how hyped up the staging was, I was actually left feeling pretty deflated by it. Also I couldn't sleep for fear of Oto breaking into my room and clubbing me to death.

The morning after: I am still very, very sad. I guess if he would have had a better song for the great staging, he would have made it thru - okay, sounds logical --- but there were truly other bad songs with a bad staging and bad vocals that did make it. I am glad though that Iceland is thru. Will keep all my fingers crossed for them now.

Even though I disliked the song all the way until the rehearsals started, I changed my mind after I saw the staging and everything was top-notch in the semi. He had to qualify :(

Unfortunately, the song itself doesn't really catch people on the first listening and that's the main reason why we got an outcome like this.

I am still sad though.

Why has this been the song of 2019 that has stayed in my mind since Sunday?

I feel this entry will age like a fine wine. Such an angry shouty song. Well done Georgia. Still better than the United Kingdom.
