Is that suppose to be a picture of one of the jury-members!? Well certainly she was part of it last year when "C'est ma vie" won the juries' vote in its semi

Yeah, that was diaspora votes for sure, problem now is that Macedonia has to compete with even more ex-yugo diaspora voters this time around.

Also, the juries.

But, we'll see. I'm just saying the general Swede (non-yugo diaspora) would probably not vote for it, because they don't really like that type of stuff.

I do however :)

That was a good song! Last year and the song in 2009 were crap, so obviously nobody liked them (not even the diaspora).

Maybe because the previous Macedonian English lyrics were even worse

Also can't you hear it sounds completely different in English? Macedonian has a different language structure, it's not the same thing.

I can't believe how underrated languages are around here, songs' changes with the change of language aswell, especially if the languages differ much.

It sounds good to me. In some cases language makes a huge difference but for me this isn't one of those cases.

How a change from a Slavic language (that has no similar sound almost as English) to English make no difference is beyond me. But hey ho... xshrug

People have different preferences. I don't care what language anyone sings in as long as the final product sounds good.

She can record a 100% Spanish version and sing that at ESC and if it sounds good I'll be ok with it.

Ok, then I suggest she goes with Chinese to ESC, afterall it will sound like the "same song", it's "just" a language afterall ;)

^ Oh sure they do if the lyrics absolutely suck and they sound out of place. Put if its constructed well and has flow then I don't see the issue.

If you disagree, that's your opinion but for me, if she truly plans to sing the last bit in English it wouldn't sound bad.

Well, I didn't mean they can't flow, but it'll still sound different simply because it IS different.

Well, she seems to have made up her mind about it, will probably sound as odd and mess as when Karolina did the same thing, but if she believes it'll be "better" then it's her prerogative.

I just hope that the CD version will be the all Makedonian one. For instance I have a big problem watching the whole performance by Karolina, but I listen to the studio version from the CD at times, which is good because it doesn't have that weird forced English ending with bad lyrics.

This may not be equally bad, but ...

oh well... doesn't matter, atleast it's just a small part of it all.

okay man we got it, you don't like the bilingual version but you don't have to write 100 posts about it, okay?

First Macedonian song I like in years. I hope she makes it to the final, what a strong voice!

Agree, Macedonia deserves it. Up until 2009 Macedonia started to become one of my overall favorite ESC countries, but between 2009-2011 it was more or less horrors, but now it's a MAJOR relief. Highly underrated entry though. :(

I honestly still think she should re-consider singing in English in the end, it'll kill the flow, but it seems she made up her mind :( Oh well, as long as that version won't be on the CD.
