Wow. This is such a low move from France.
when even big countries like France and Germany (which have a big, popular, healthy and very successful music scene) asked G:son and Co. to come up with songs which even countries like Lithuania don't wanna have (hello, Aiste).

Seriously, I can't believe that France is so freaking desperate and non-original. I expected something big from this internal selection/nomination like, dunno. France 2009, 2011, 2013..something unique and bold.. instead we will end up with facing the disowned baby of "Waterfall" and "Bigger Than Us".

That's my biggest pet peeve. We're lucky to be a big country (for Europe) with a varied music scene, we certainly can find something with more flavor. Something that won't guarantee a top 10 but will at least bring something else to the contest. It's no wonder 2013 was my favorite French entry this decade.
The only problem is convincing these artists to go to Eurovision.

Well, I think the song itself as a power ballad isn't necessarily zero level bad... but gosh those lyrics are really cringey!

This isn't Bigger Than Us 2.0... Because even that song was better.

I heard other songs of Tom and expected some country-like calm ballad with a quality on French and then we get this

Oh please tell me this is a joke. They really think this song can win ? And was it really the most memorable ? Can't believe we threw out a NF for this. (Yeah, it wasn't perfect and didn't bring the best results but at least it was better).

It isn't full English exactly like I suspected, but honestly I had a hard time understanding his French parts, you can hear he isn't used to sing in this language.
I really don't understand what they saw in this song. And contrary to what she said I don't think Tom Leeb's voice is perfect for this, it doesn't match this much imo. Everything is so bland huuuugh France you disappoint me.

Give us Bilal back. He was far from my favorite but at least his song came from the heart.

points and I think I'm even quite generous. It's old-fashioned, cringe-worthy and I can't believe that's France 2020. I like Tom's voice a lot (that's 1 points) + the verses are "not horrible" (+1 pt).
Seriously... France, thank you, it seems that neither the UK nor Germany will be #25 in the final (televoting).
