It would be impossiblee to be his entry since it has been released long before 1 September! However i hope too that something way more interesting than ''Sun'' will come tomorrow.
I hope so :) I am looking forward to listening to good music. Tonight I listened to the songs of Ulrikke, Samanta Tina, The Roop and Athena Manoukian. The best so far has been the Armenian song (although this has not impressed me). I apologize to everyone for the mistake :)

I went to see a song called "Sun" on Youtube. I thought this was the song the singer will bring to Eurovision. Instead it's a fake news. I hope France will bring a better song than that! For the rest, you French should be proud of your language. What's the point of singing it partly in English and partly in French? Or sing it in English or French.
No problem. It seems like we'll have a year with lots of ballad so I dream of a "J'ai cherché" type of song but one can dream.

Will the song be announced today? I suppose it will be something in English, as he calls himself Tom Leeb, not something more Fench like Thomas Leebé. :D

Kinda ironic to say the song will be the "symbol of France" when it is composed by foreigners.
Honestly, I couldn't help but roll my eyes all along. It's clear she fell in love with the song and thinks we couldn't have a better entry because it was the perfect match and whatnot. They better not fuck it up now.

The only good thing that came out of this : my expectations dropped. So Tom can only lift them.

First choosing a song and then searching for the singer... Sweden writing for someone else... The super duper song so many people everyone has to love...
This smells a lot like another Michael Rice story, doesn't it?

Edit: At least I have slightly bigger hopes for France 2 to somehow successfully pull it off.

Yeah, it doesn't make me dream

She said details were important and couldn't be ignored if you want to make a difference. The result will be another question but at least the intention is there.

Wow. This is such a low move from France.

Seriously, all this mediocre, soulless and non-authentic Swedish songs flooding Europe in Eurovision needs to stop ASAP. I know this is a rant and I can assure you that I DO NOT HATE SWEDEN (voted for Loreen, Robin) but seriously, what's the point of Eurovision when even big countries like France and Germany (which have a big, popular, healthy and very successful music scene) asked G:son and Co. to come up with songs which even countries like Lithuania don't wanna have (hello, Aiste).
What's the point of Eurovision when local cultures, languages and Co. won't be promoted, shared, introduced, etc.?
I don't mind songs performed in English or classy "universal" ballads but it needs to be balanced.
EBU should imply a rule that at least 50% of the songwriters need to be from the country or so... maybe even coming up with a 50/50 "sing in a national language" rule seeing countries rotating every year (?).

Seriously, I can't believe that France is so freaking desperate and non-original. I expected something big from this internal selection/nomination like, dunno. France 2009, 2011, 2013..something unique and bold.. instead we will end up facing the disowned baby of "Waterfall" and "Bigger Than Us".

No, thanks, thank u next!

I don't see a problem with foreign songwriters. Some of them might have overstayed their welcome over the years. But hey, it's all cool if i like the song.

I AM SO PISSED RIGHT NOW OH god. Don't we have composers in France ? Is there only this nightmarish G:Son in all the earth able to write songe ? I'm screaming. I hâte Ftv so MUCH for that.

Honestly i respect Thomas Gson for some great songs like Euphoria, but he is like manufacture of songs for all countries and after many years of his low quality giant number of songs i realised that songs like Euphoria were made accidentally and they are statistical error

Give me France as it was with Amir and Alma, i dont know who can beat these two for me among all French entries.
