I just listened the full album. It's a very consistent album. A pretty solid debut album. I think the gays will love some of the tracks on there and the tweens will love the overall concept of the album. My favourite track on the album is "Poison".

He must be planning something over the top, as he has been building hype all this time.
I think we will see the record of longest ever wig this year, sth like Azerbaijan's epic dress from 2014, covering the whole stage :D

Yes, he just announced on a french radio (RTL) that he was repeating between 6 and 7 jours a day, but he thinks that he is not effective enough (he is very perfectionnist). His staging will be very very ambitious according to him, a world-premiere never seen at the TV.

Which would coincide with the rumour from last month saying that it would be the most expensive french staging ever. Finally a good staging from my country ? I hope so.

I really hope that it will be a great staging! I'm not the biggest fan of the song but I think that with a good rewamp & staging (& singing) he could do well !

We can hear a part of the revamp in this video (1:02)

Here is the original instrumental, if you want to compare

Bilal is definitely improving. I am sure he will be able to serve those vocals 'live' on the finals.
On a side note, his debut album is on repeat mode for me. Love it!

The revamp *seems* to be effective, to what point I don't know cause I wasn't able to put my fingers on it, everything is deleted asap.

Two days left anyway (but i'm sure they could still use the old version for the rehearsals just for the sake of it) I hope it's great cause waiting for a key change no mama

EDIT : okay found it, it was easier than I thought. It sounds like a cleaner version more instrumental.

So having an overweight dancer apparently means they're going to win? :'D

To me, he looks miles better than during Destination Eurovision: I like his long wig, his outfit is a bit kitschy but that's the best one he's worn imo. White suits him better than black.

Visually, from what I saw the backdrops with the giant doors (??) seem to look nice and I like the white/blue/purple colour scheme.

With that being said, I'm not sure what to think about the two dancers. I feel like it's gonna be rather tacky tbh. They're not going for sublety, that's for sure: everyone will get it's a song about self-acceptance.

I'll wait and see what the performance looks like on camera, but unless there is something really special happening, I'm not sure what would make it winning material tbh.

Gosh this is so cringy... I guess you can't make it more obvious now that it's a song about being bullied and self-acceptance... xdoh Everything about this song and its message is still so cheap... I mean you could have also just taken the song and staged it in a classy, decent way...

To quote another comment i read online: "This is the worst example of meaningless tosh masquerading as an important message".

I actually really like that backdrop that looks like huge palace doors or something and how it all looks like a huge set and not LED, as seen in the video on the eurovision channel. However the messages and such just feels so forced. They should cut all of that out and stage it... just differently. The press centre obviously loved it, but for me I don't buy it.

Wow, what a big surprise here... Who would have thought that a mostly cliché gay press would love this... :?

You're all so mean that's incredible. I hope he'll do well, he worked hard and he deserves it. I love the staging btw
