It's a mess. It's confusing. What are the first 10 seconds? Then it changes rhythm twice again. Plus the chorus is not strong enough. I'm sorry but at first listen (and this will count for most voters) it's just not good enough.

Actually the fact that it has some weird and messy moments are what makes this interesting.

I'd rather have stuff like that than the typical formula and predictable sounds and rhythms.

If it weren't for those bits, this song would have been far more uninteresting imo.

Have to say listening to it again that it's a grower, so France should really work on promoting it across Europe (as I believe they're doing). It's pretty underwhelming on first impressions, nonetheless, which is a problem for a Big 5 country as their song will only be heard once on the night...

It is more interesting sure.......but will the general audience vote for it? I just think it's too complicated after one listen..

I think uninteresting is bad aswell, although I agree that "common" sounding is better than plain bad of course.

However I don't think this is plain bad, but I still don't know what I think though.

I mean in general, if a song isn't that interesting, atleast some twisted moments in a song can make it a little more interesting.

I think the chorus kills this one The verses are quirky in a rather brilliant way, in my opinion, as well as the whistled (?) hook, but the chorus is just bland. And it would hav sounded so much better to have it all in French...

Having just watched it performed in Malta, I find the weird intro makes more sense in a live setting.
