This is a strange one, sounds like three songs rolled into one. Not keen on the lyrics switching between French and English, but the song is growing on me. Not as good as France last year though.

You're right ! I think it's actually a live with the single version in dub

It's a really good performance, she has a real presence on stage without exaggeration and doing too much ! And the audience seemed conquiered (reminds you that in France, Eurovision is not very well considerated... )

I find myself drawn more to the slowed down introduction than the faster parts of this one - shame that the slower part only last for about 15 seconds or so... :p

I suspect another mid-place finish for this one, as it's nothing special and her voice does have a distinct tone which might divide opinion.

So what? You don't get extra points for having a song that's difficult to sing. It's about whether the song's any good and whether that song can be performed live.

Didn't say anything other than that she should be able to sing it. She doesn't have range but it's sung at her level, unlike many acts who take it too far and ruin the song. It does maybe make the song a bit lifeless overall.

Agree!

However we know the juries only care about the singing bits, whether the song sucks or not is not important for them it seems.

I recently listened to it again and I'm finding that her voice sounds a lot like a bulldozer. It's probably the most unappealing component of the song. That and the fact that there is a constant build up throughout the song which eventually leads to nowhere.

Here's some local 'early' polling by Greece media with 9/43 and 2500 votes. Last year Greece gave 12 points to France. And Anggun is quite known in Greece. I remember one of the Greece X-Factor finalist sang Anggun's "SAVIOUR" OST-Transporter 2. The radio seems to play Echo a lot.

The media here also mentioned Anggun and played her song in some music programs in tv, and discussed about it a little. But I don't think France will get 12 points from Greece this year. I think everybody knows who will get them!

Good luck for Cyprus. La La Love is a good song. ;)
