The Norwegian league is finished, and here's the result:
1: Rosenborg 19-11-0 (58-24) 68
2: Vålerenga 19-4-7 (69-36) 61
3: Tromsø 14-8-8 (36-30) 50
4: Aalesund 14-5-11 (46-37) 47
5: Odd 12-10-8 (48-41) 46
6: Haugesund 12-9-9 (51-39) 45
7: Strømsgodset 13-4-13 (51-59) 43
8: Start 11-9-10 (57-60) 42
9: Viking 10-11-9 (48-41) 41
10: Lillestrøm 9-13-8 (51-44) 40
11: Molde 10-10-10 (42-45) 40
12: Stabæk 11-6-13 (46-47) 39
13: Brann 8-10-12 (48-50) 34
14: Hønefoss 7-6-17 (28-62) 27
15: Kongsvinger 4-8-18 (27-58) 20
16: Sandefjord 2-6-22 (25-58) 12
So... Rosenborg did not only win the league, they didn't even lose a single match, something that has never happened before, as far as I know. Vålerenga ended the season by beating bronze medalist Tromsø 3-0.
Hønefoss has to go thru play-off against Fredrikstad, Løv-Ham and Ranheim, the teams that ended 3rd to 5th in Adeccoligaen, the division below the top division. Ranheim is from Trondheim, same as Rosenborg, meaning Trondheim could have 2 top league teams next season. Gonna be tough tho, especially when you consider that they got promoted to Adeccoligaen last season, and aren't really prepared for Tippeligaen anyway.
Kongsvinger is relegated, and also facing bankruptcy, just like Lyn did earlier this season. They might still survive tho. A "funny" thing about this tho. Both Lyn and Kongsvinger are teams that a lot of supporters of my club (Vålerenga) hate with a passion...
Sandefjord has been doomed for quite a while, but they really went down with the flag on top, after trashing Hønefoss 6-1 at home in the last match.
Initially, I thought next season was gonna be a race between Rosenborg and Vålerenga for the title, but a 3rd team might be able to get up there as well. Molde just got the Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjær as their manager, and he's done a great job coaching the United reserves the past seasons, and I think he could do amazing things. The only problem is, I don't like Molde.
