Partizan is playing against Borac tomorrow.

And our biggest rival Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) is playing against Javor, or "Manchester United" as one of their players said

LIGA BBVA - SPAIN

18:00
Español - Almería
Mallorca - Osasuna

20:00
Sporting - Ath. Bilbao

22:00
Real Sociedad - Real Madrid

Interesting round this one. Español - Almería and Mallorca - Osasuna don't seem to be so interesting, but at least they will be close matches, except for Mallorca maybe which is superior team.
Sporting - Athletic will be beautiful match, of course. It's one of the northern classics and Athletic will have a tough time in "El Molinón"
And Real Sociedad - Real Madrid.....that will be amazing. Real Madrid is not very well received there in the Basque COuntry and I'm sure Real Sociedad's supporters will so want to kick them, as they spent 3 years in 2nd league and they are not used to. This year they are playing not to suffer anymore and Real Madrid is starting to play really well, but this doesn't seem to be an easy match at all for them.

And here is the first Macedonian league table as of yesterday. I can't believe how low is Vardar, our best ever team (even won the Yugoslavian league in 1987).
I cheer for FK Skopje and FK Vardar. FK Skopje came to the first league this season, after being away in the second and third league for 10 years. :D

So, this is what happend yesterday:

Otelul Galati - Unirea Urziceni 4 - 1
No surprises here! Unirea is the weakest team in the league and I guess only Steaua coud've been so foolish to lose against them! Unirea has no chance to avoid relegation, while Otelul are in the lead now and In a way that's a big surprise because they don't have any star players, just a good manager and a great president!

FC Timisoara - Sportul Studentesc Bucharest 2 - 1
Now that Petrovic left, Timisoara started to atack, not only to defend, and they won. They where lucky because both dangerous strikers from Sportul (Varga and Balan) where injured. FC Timisoara remains the only undefeated team in Liga I.

The only important match today is Dinamo against galactico-estupido Lopez Caro's team SC Vaslui. If Dinamo doesen't win they will fire their coach and that is grat, because he is the only one that could've saved something from them. If Dinamo fires Andone, than Steaua's only oponent on the race to the championship is only Steaua herslef :D

First two matches were not anything special. Sporting - Athletic was completely awesome. Sporting played really well and Athletic has one of our world champions, Fernando Llorente, and he's from other world and saved his team again.
And thumbs up for Real Sociedad. They played awesome yesterday and didn't deserve to lose to a kinda mediocre Real Madrid, but it is almost impossible for them to lose with such players.

Today matcheS:

17:00
Hércules - Valencia
Racing - Zaragoza
Levante - Villarreal

19:00
Atlético de Madrid - Barcelona

21:00
Málaga - Sevilla

Monday: 21:00
Deportivo - Getafe

Wow, we have three regional duels today! Hércules - Valencia, more than 10 years later from the last one; Levante - Villarreal also in Valencia and the Andalusian one, Málaga - Sevilla. People from Málaga hate so much Sevilla so it will be a tense match, especially now when Málaga started so well and Sevilla did disastreous so far, it seems so close!
My team, Real Zaragoza, meets one of our rivals to keep our spot in 1st league, Racing. They seem to have one of weakest teams this year, though they don't play bad. We're not very good this year, but I think we're better than him and will be able to get at least a tie there in Santander.
And finally, the greatest classic: Atlético - Barcelona. These plays are usually so crazy with a lot of goals. Maybe this one will be different cause I bet both teams will be tired after meeting Aris and Panathinaikos, but we'll see an exciting match, that's for sure. Barcelona arrives better and Atlético could have to play without Agüero. We'll see.

Here are the results of round 9 in Superligaen:

stilling.png

Saturday:

Randers FC - Aab 2-3

Sunday:

AC Horsens - Esbjerg FB 0-3
Sønderjyske - FC Midtjylland
Silkeborg IF - OB 3-1
FC København - Brøndby 2-0

Tomorrow.

19.00 CET: Lyngby BK - FC Nordsjælland

Wooohhooooooo! We defeated Brøndby!!!:twisted:tw:isted:tw:isted:
They put a lot of the seats on fire again in Parken but I don't care right now...it was so tense and I'm more than happy that we proved ourselves better than them again. :D

Apart from that there were some really fucked up results...OB played against Getafe in Europe League last thursday and it was obvious to see they were affected by that match. After they fired the entire staff in the club it has been chaos in Odense.
Also I think Aab's victory is worth given a mention. They really needed those 3 points in order not to be seriously in danger of relegation. A big club like Aab which have been in Champions League just a few years ago doesn't deserve to be in the bottom of the table. However they have sold most of their star-players without buying anyone so they are now paying the prize.

Here is the full table after 9 rounds:

stilling.png

FC Midtjylland is hanging on to the top but we're still comfortably leading! :D

Top-scorers so far:

topscorere.png

1. Frank Kristensen (FC Midtjylland)
2. Hans Henrik Andreasen (OB)
3. Cesar Santín (FCK)

Go go Santín!

Yesterday was a perfect day for Steaua fans :D The two results are amazing

CFR Cluj - FCM Targu Mures 1 - 2
Everybody sees it as a surprise because FCM Targu Mures are considered CFR Cluj slaves, but their coach is one of the bigest legends of ,,U" Cluj, so Sabau proved yesterday how much he hates CFR Cluj  Now CFR Cluj is the first team over the relegation line and if they continue playing like this there is no chance they could even finish TOP 6

Dinamo Bucharest - SC Vaslui 1 - 2
Dinamo scored fast but they scored an own goal imediatley, then SC Vaslui scored their second goal. In the '90 minute Dinamo had a penalty, but N'Doye (the brother of FC Kobenhavn hero) missed.

Steaua is playing today against Astra Ploiesti (last place in the league) and if we win we will be on top of the table! xfruits:

Lyngby BK - FC Nordsjælland 2-0

Awesome match! I just arrived back home from this match...Lyngby is my local team and the city I live nearest and I've followed them on and off since they went bancrupt and was relegated to Danmarks-serien (the lowest division) some years ago. Plus I know a couple of the players so I attend the matches once in a while. It was raining like hell and I was freezing my butt off but the guys did really well. Considering they have the youngest team in Superligaen and has just arrived back to Superligaen this season it was truly an amazing effort.

Lyngby BK is now 4th which is quite sensational. Everyone had expected relegation for them. I sooooo wonder how they're gonna meet the requirements of UEFA if they get one of the 4 spots for European football. Tonight we were roughly 2.500 people and maximum capacity is about 3.000 people.

Last two matches of the 8th round:

Gloria Bistrita - FC Brasov 0 - 0
Very boring match betwen two average teams. The only interesting part was the proposal to mariage a girl got from her boyfriend on the stadium scoring table during the match

Steaua Bucharest - Astra Ploiesti 1 - 1
We played a great first half, but the match against FC Liverpool showed in the 2nd half when the players where so tired. I am not sad about the result, I am sad that our coach left us :((

The table (after 8 rounds):

1. Otelul Galati 16
2. Rapid Bucharest 15
3. Steaua Bucharest 15
4. Dinamo Bucharest 14

6. FC Timisoara 14
7. ,,U" Cluj 13
8. FC Vaslui 11

Hércules 1-2 Valencia
Racing 2-0 Zaragoza
Levante 1-2 Villarreal
Atlético Madrid 1-2 Barcelona
Málaga 1-2 Sevilla
Deportivo 2-2 Getafe

No surprises in the matches. Hércules couldn't do to Valencia what they did to Barcelona and though they played well, Valencia was a really deserved winner, though the referee helped Hércules so much. Racing - Zaragoza was a boring play where Racing were the one to wake up in the end of the match, so they took their first 3 points against my Zaragoza, which had a terrible lack of ambition. I'm hopeless with my team... :(
Levante didn't really deserve to lose to a weak Villarreal. They were much better, but they have so many problems cause it seems their team is not enough for this leage and they will suffer a lot if they want to keep here...
Barça and Messi gave such a football lesson in Madrid and it could've been worse without De Gea, Atlético's keeper. I'm so angry to recognize this but that's the true, though not everything are good news for FC Barcelona, cause Messi was injured for 2-3 weeks. Bad news for football, good news for me :D
Málaga started well to their biggest rivals from Sevilla, giving a good play, but it seems Sevilla left all their serious problem for European competitions and are as stronger as before here in Spain.
Deportivo and Getafe signed a tie as it was predicted, but such a surprise cause Deportivo hadn't either scored and received goals before!

1- Valencia 9
2- Sevilla 7
3- Real Madrid 7
4- Atl. Madrid 7

5- Villarreal 7
6- Barcelona 6

7- Español 6
8- Getafe 4
9- Ath. Bilbao 4
10- Real Sociedad 4
11- Mallorca 4
12- Sporting 4
13- Hércules 3
14- Deportivo 3
15- Málaga 3
16- Racing 3
17- Almería 2

18- Osasuna 1
19- Zaragoza 1
20- Levante 0
