Right now, they are clearly in.
The broadcaster just reacted to some "fans asking to boycott Israel" and said that UMK will take place with or without Eurovision.
They also said that the situation in the Middle East (they didn't even name Israel exactly) is very horrible/shocking but they just said that they are in talks with the Nordic countries anyway, etc.

If you ask me... if...and only if all Nordic countries want to boycott ESC all of a sudden, the EBU will ask Israel to sit this one out but honestly, I don't think it's that serious yet.

It would be pretty funny if every other Nordic country decided to withdraw leaving Sweden alone.

Since I regard UMK as the best national contest in these years, I would of course miss it.

I do think, though, that the EBU could provide us with better arguments regarding why they choose to let Israel participate. Their main argument seems to be that Israel has participated in Eurovision for very long - that is a lame point.

I don't give any credence to that list. If an employee of Yle wants to keep her job, then she shouldn't tell anyone about the names of the participants until Yle is ready to officially reveal them.
