UMK will take place on 10th February!

According to the producers, the songs which got submitted ate even stronger than last year's submissions.

I'm excited because Finland has become one of the strongest competitors in recent years. Their NFs are top-notch!

Diverse set of songs from pop to rock, and from indie to dance

So does this mean the acts have been selected? If so that seems really fast. But then again, what do I know.

I'm so scared for Finland. I really don't want them to pick the rock band but they probably will no matter the other songs.

I agree with you on the jury. I think a 75-25% split makes the jury redundant. It doesn't matter what the jury thinks, the televote blows them away every time.

I find it funny that so many people had tantrums about Erika Vikman not winning UMK 2020 and yet she would still lose even under a 25 / 75 split

After winning the televoting + letting genuinely interesting, bold and authentic material compete in their NF's for a couple of years now, I really believe YLE when they say this... unlike when or say the same thing

Broadcaster will clearly hype their own NF's but when it comes to YLE, I strangely believe them.

I just hope that next year's UMK will be as interesting and diverse as in recent years!

I just believe that YLE is no NDR or BBC - and therefore, we fans may can get excited about them hyping up their own NF - every time Germany comes up with such nonsense talk, I'm pretty anxious
