I just proudly casted my 0 point for Finland and karja. My God most annoying individual this year and one of the most over hyped individuals in the history of Eurovision. He built a character like subwoofer and people are buying it. 147 max points here on this forum for him. He doesn't even sing, he just talks fast, like rap and than schlager. No vocals in a singing competition. And then vocal, silly face expressions it's just so over the top. Unfortunately the song itself does nothing. Like alexandru Eurovision reactor said UK song is more cha cha than Finland's cha cha. You are all gonna have cold shower after results in may. Second place really???? How is this better than France, Norway, Israel, uk, Serbia and Cyprus.

I think everyone knows Käärijä is a persona. Jere often refers to “Käärijä” in the third person in interviews so it’s not like he’s trying to fool anyone.
Käärijä/Jere are awesome and bringing so much energy and personality to the contest.

What can I say? This song is amazing. The raw and angry beginning combined with the happy hardcore ending (which was what made me truly fall in love with this song) is a fantastic move from the songwriters. It's energetic, bombastic but also a lot of fun. It's just... great.

I think it is too hostile of an attitude to bring in and carry on. It is only a song competition and every individual has their own taste in music. Essentially it is what makes one feel like after listening to it. You don't need to articulate in words to "justify" your taste in music. You just like it or don't, and you should feel guilty for neither of them.

I fail to connect "common sense" and "music taste" while the two are completely opposite concepts to each other. It makes even less sense that someone has such bitter and sharp attitude towards a song or people who just enjoy it.

Will you ever stop being insufferable? Like Käärijä is not even in my Top 10 but people don’t need a „reason“ to love it if they just do. People like what they like, and if they happen to like it the most, so be it. Of course you are obviously entitled to not like it as well, but that doesn’t give you the permission to spread hate about him or everyone that does.

I do and it got much worse. German ophthalmologists nor German eye doctors unfortunately aren't the best ones in the world be it is progressing really quickly and after each relatively new glasses need to have stronger dioptry. Luckily even blind and visually impaired people can listen to music.

Regarding tacky costumes and him showing stomach no thanks not for me. Its over the top and it should be competitive in vocal and song. Show us vocal range. Or in this case show us nothing. Silly outfit if not supported by vocal and good song structure does nothing for me. I don't know who started this all hype with Finland but it's without substance.

Also I can't accept musical taste is subjective. I mean are we all even listening to same song,? You are hearing what I am hearing right. The same song.

But it’s ok, grumpy old man, let people have their fun with Käärija. I do even agree with you to some extent what the song is concerned but Käärija lifts Eurovision to a whole new level. Who doesn’t love this man? (Apart from people who don’t like neon jackets and cute little tummies, obviously…)
