Finland FINLAND 2022 - The Rasmus - Jezebel

Yay, Finland will be participating now that Russia has been banned. So happy to see a complete North in ESC.
My favorite in the Finnish NF is Younghearted. I know the odds of them taking the victory is probably slim, but here's hoping.
I only hope, Russia will not attack us soon. Because Putin wants to return Russian empire, I think he includes
too it.

Denmarks has allowed American troops to set up on Bornholm in the protection of the Baltic Sea, just like we've called a battleship home from Africa where it helped fight pirates. And Russia tried telling us that we can't have American troops on Bornholm. Like, STFU, you don't get any say in what we do and whom we choose to welcome in our own country. And it's all because of the Russian agression.

I think there are other countries he'd target first. But you are right, Ukraine might not be the end. We should fear especially for Georgia and Moldova, but maybe also for Azerbaijan and Armenia.I only hope, Russia will not attack us soon. This short recap is superior to that lengthy one from Australia.
Of course, it´s difficult to judge the performances but based on that recap, all singers sounded decent/solid to me - I´m a bit worried about The Rasmus , though. The Hurricane part was way more impressive, imo.

as it was pointed out by someone earlier, Lauri isn't the strongest live so it might hurt their chances big time, and i wouldn't count on them being a big name in the industry since they'd sent Darude and we all know how did it end up. Being famous won't save you on eurovision if you have a weak song/performance
judging by the snippets I guess it would be rather a duel between Cyan Kicks and Bess, both will have energetic performances which won't be easy to forget, like it might be the case with Olivera and Younghearted unless they really manage to captivate the audience, but it won't be an easy task. I would even bet on Cyan Kicks just because Finland does the best when they send rock/metal entries, so they might think Cyan Kicks will be able to repeat Blind Channel's success at least to some extent

In the short clip Cyan Kicks looked rather too forced on me actually and I also didn't like this white-black-stripes choreo. And the choreo of Bess looked rather like a B-movie for me. But it was all too short to really judge it, so let's see tonight!

I like Cyan Kicks Blondie meets the White Stripes inspiration. 
The clips were way too sort to judge really, but imo "Thank God I'm an Atheist" is the one that is way inferior live compared to the studio version. "Jezebel" has a pretty weak vocalist indeed but it wasn't that bad and the performance seems very close to the lyric video so I'm pretty optimistic about it. "Hurricane" looked more interesting compared to the lyric video but I need to see the whole performance. The rest seemed underwhelming compared to the studio version but not bad.

Many of our politicians are living still in the past (1950-1980s), so they don't want to join NATO and wanna keep friendly ties with Russia. We have a term of own with it: Suomettuminen (Finlandization).
