Midnight, it's time to put your face on
Game set, a killer shark in heels
I'm just the first shot on your hit list
High kicks, a predator on wheels
Woke up with bruises on my body
Hands tied, like Jesus on the cross
Your name's in lipstick on the mirror

Jezebel
I don't know how you got in my blood
Was it the dangerous things you do?
You always wanted to be a star
Jezebel
If you're the hunter then I'm the prey
You lick your lips as you walk away
Your final kiss is to leave a scar
On a heart
Jezebel

At night you turn into a tiger
A girl who looks like she's a boy
The world's most ultimate survivor

Jеzebel (Jezеbel)
I don't know how you got in my blood (Jezebel)
Was it the dangerous things you do? (Jezebel)
You always wanted to be a star
Jezebel (Jezebel)
If you're the hunter then I'm the prey (Jezebel)
You lick your lips as you walk away (Jezebel)
Your final kiss is to leave a scar
On a heart

Sunrise, you crawl under the covers
Sleep tight until the dying sun
Tonight you'll catch another lover
Jezebel

Jezebel (Jezebel)
I don't know how you got in my blood (Jezebel)
Was it the dangerous things you do? (Jezebel)
You always wanted to be a star
Jezebel (Jezebel)
If you're the hunter then I'm the prey (Jezebel)
You lick your lips as you walk away (Jezebel)
Your final kiss is to leave a scar
On a heart

Since 2020 that they brought back the regular UMK, the overall quality of the contest keeps improving every year imo. Overall the songs are very good and there is a decent variety of genres. However for me, while the other years there would be at least one song that I would love, all songs leave me cold this year

Hurricane is a fine song, has a decent melody and all, but I always forget that it exists. Sun numero and Kuuma Jäbä are just ok, I wouldn't mind any of them being picked but wouldn't end up too high on my final ranking. Elämä Kantaa Mua is sweet but also a bit meh as a song.

Thank God I’m An Atheist is interesting, though it gets boring pretty fast, but I have a problem with the production of the song, it sounds cheaper than what I would expect for a song like this. Could do well in ESC tho.

Ram pam pam and Jezebel could have both been big favourites of mine if their melodies were a bit different. Both start the chorus with a really good melody and then it goes differently and kinda cuts off, idk how to describe it exactly. Also although I like more Jezebel's music, I'm not big fan of the lyrics.

My first two places are good enough to actively support them on their journey. I don't think they stand a chance to win though.

1. Bess - Ram pam pam 7
2. Tommi Läntinen - Elämä kantaa mua 7
3. Younghearted - Sun numero 5
4. The Rasmus - Jezebel 5
5. Cyan Kicks - Hurricane 4
6. Isaac Sene - Kuuma jäbä 2
7. Olivera - Thank God I'm an Atheist 1

The Rasmus - Jezebel 8/10 (I'm ready to see Finland sending the first rock song I can say I really like since 2016 xheat addictive, memorable, the melancholic vibe is everything for me)
Tommi Läntinen - Elämä kantaa mua 7/10 (very uplifting song and charismatic performer)
Cyan Kicks - Hurricane 7/10 (would have been an 8 if it wasn't for the lyrics, still a very nice one)
Olivera - Thank God I'm an Atheist 7/10 (creative lyrics, lovely melody)
Bess - Ram pam pam 7/10 (was a 6 initially but this got stuck in my head quickly, I don't think it should win though)

xthink
Younghearted - Sun numero 6/10 (ok, nice buildup)
Isaac Sene - Kuuma jäbä 5/10 (just ok)

A bit underwhelming, but I wouldn’t mind if it won:
1. Ram pam pam
2. Sun numero

Please sound less like a creepy doll live:
3. Thank God I’m an Atheist

Ok/Indifferent:
4. Kuuma jäbä
5. Hurricane
6. Elämä kantaa mua

No. Especially not on old merits. Verses are especially cringe:
7. Jezebel

with the draw from today and semi 2 for finland (the easier one or me) it could be tough choosing the rasmus because in australia "dreamer" could win and this rocksong shines a lot more than jezebel.
georgia could surping too (as very often) and deliver a better rock song.

Voyager =/= The Rasmus.

I can still remember many fans saying that Finland or Italy (or both) will fail in 2021 because "there are two rock songs".
Seriously, both songs are different subgenres - they both have some guitar riffs in them but they don´t sound anything alike.
Also, if "Dreamer" wins in Australia (I still believe that Sheldon Riley or a surprise like Montaigne 2 years ago can make it) AND The Rasmus in Finland, the EBU/organisers can make them perform apart (like "The Rasmus" opening the final and Australia at #8 or #9) to just not have two very different rock songs following each other.

Absolutely right. "Dreamer" and "Jezebel" serve different listeners. Just as there are different kinds of pop music, there are different rock bands. "Dreamer is prog-rock with electronic elements, "Jezebel" is alternative rock, maybe being more accessible all in all. I REALLY hope both make it. xheartxmusic

This years UMK is giving me life and also...I really don't know who I want to win anymore.
First I was team Cyan Kicks, such a good poprock song, very paramore-like, would do pretty well in ESC too I believe.
Then I fell in love with Olivera, That song just leaves me thinking about life and death, something that is unusual but lovely when it comes to ESC-songs.
The Rasmus has grown more and more on me lately, the song is so well made. Maybe lacks that last push for me though, but I can totally see The Rasmus, if they win UMK, to get a lot of jury votes, since it is a really strong rock song.
And then Isaac Sene, I mean come on! He is hot, he sings the song well and with lots of attitude. It is a damn gay anthem at this point. Modern, fresh, cool, it has everything. Just add english lyrics in the last chorus to make it more accessible for a wider audience and this can go all the way. I MEAN LISTEN TO THE OPENING, THAT JUST SCREAMS EUROVISION-WINNER TO ME!

The other three songs are very well made too, don't mind listening through them either. So happy that after Finland been on a draught when it comes to good UMK-songs, they are back stronger than ever. Hyvä Soumi! xrose
