Lol, yep I did. Plus Finland has this pattern of qualifying every other year so that means in 2014 it's time for another non-qualification....Sorry the Oracle is never wrong.

I think that's more a result of Finland sending a mainstream song every other year though, isn't it? If anything, the pattern is that they qualify with mainstream entries but not with more unusual ones, so that should see them set for qualification this year if we were just to look at patterns.

Actually there are only 2 times in recent years that we haven't qualified, in 2010 and 2012, both of those were kind of alternative entries. And not in English.

On eurovision youtube's profile, there is uploaded version from UMK final. It's just temporary and this weekend it will be replaced with the videoclip with a new version (I heard that there are not that many changes though).

It does sound a bit different, more pop-like and maybe more approachable for people? I'm glad they didn't take the screaming bits out, I hope Topi's voice can bear that in May. I think we stand a good chance at qualifying, especially if we perform 12-15 in the semi. At least I hope so! I hope this version will change people's opinion for the better, even though I have to admit I feel like it lacks a bit of something. Well, at least Henri has more keyboards to pretend play in Copenhagen :D

Video like video, I didn't expect anything different. I wouldn't mind such a staging. I want them jumping on the stage like in the videoclip

In new version there are few minor changes, like the way Topi sings in the refrain (I don't go that high that often), arrangement of second verses, a bit more backing vocals, violins (?) in the bridge.
I think it works better.

Still my no. 1.

Finland, I forgive you. xqueenbitch At first, I was angry because :fi: didn't choose my absolute favourite in the NF, but now I feel it doesn't matter... 'Something Better' is a great song, and I think they will highlight a lot... Now, I love when he sings 'for I’ll not surrender'...

Actually, I wasn't soooo angry because Softengine were my 3rd choice at UMK...
