That is, in fact, the old version - so to speak, because to my knowledge, Softengine has never actually performed it. That was the very first produced version of the song - Jukka Immonen may have been the producer, though I'm not sure. It apparently wasn't Softengine's idea to make it sound like that. This version was then released on Spotify on the UMK 2014 album. Meanwhile, radio stations were playing the actual UMK version…
The lyric video version made its way onto the UMK 2014 album later on, and that's the one they wanted to compete with.
