The opening of this World Cup is (for me) easily the worst one I ever watched. It looked like an opening for the Olympic games rather than the World Cup. Olympics wannabe, to be more precise. The only good moment for me is the mascot recap.

Game-wise, great performance from Ecuador. I was rooting for them. I thought the match would be more even because the quality of both teams is similar but the host was quite disappointing. Well done Ecuador.

I expect great matches today!

Also, it warms my heart to see so many people beliving in the :rs: team xheart I am sure we will give our best not to disappoint.

I think Iran can maybe manage to draw England but it'll be hard, Senegal can also manage to draw The Neds, and I have absolutely no idea about the USA/Wales game :lol:

I'm so happy Jack Grealish scored. His sister has a disability called cerebral palsy and he made a promise to a young boy that also has cerebral palsy.

I hope Senegal-Netherlands will stay that way - a draw that's what I predicted! ;) (But it would even be better if Senegal won the match!)

I first predicted draw but then changed to a Senegal win xD

They didn't even air it here. We had documentaries on the Qatari human rights record instead, I'm not even joking. It was excellent to hear that was the case.
