So are we... just not getting proper results this year? I remember checking the Eurovision.tv page on Sunday morning to see how each juror voted, how the whole televote results were (you know, who finished 11th and 26th etc) but still nothing...

Jurors not but semi final televoting breakdown definitely is, I already saw it on eurovision tv this night. Unless this is made up? https://eurovisionworld.com/eurovision/2023/semi-final-1#latvia
Yes, but that's just each country's top 10 televoting results... we don't have the full results, so which country placed at 11th place in Czechia's televote, which country placed last etc. We used to get these breakdowns, so I hope the ESC team just signed off after exhausting evening and will publish the data soon.

I feel like this year would've been a lot more enjoyable if the whole finland versus sweden things hadn't been as blown up, because I think that is what forced people to vote in very extreme ways. People who like finland but also other songs might have put more/all of their votes on finland in order to have a chance at " Beating Loreen" and something similar might have gone on with the juries, the extreme votes just getting blown up on either side and many people also voting for loreen in order for her to get enough TV points while there are actually other songs they like slightly more, but they wanted her to beat kaarija. And this is also what caused some other songs to very much underperform in the televote.

So maybe, next years, people shouldn't get so deep/obsessed into it trying to desperately beat another song and fairly spread their votes akin to their own tastes (I gave one point each to norway, armenia, czechia and estonia fyi; I don't do the full 20 votes cus they're ridiculously expensive and they might not even get through which I suspect happened because I never got a confirmation) instead of I SHALL GAVE 20 VOTES TO FINLAND WAAAHHHH or ALL TOO QUEEN LOREEN SHALL WIN AAAHHHH because honestly this space is just fucking grazy and toxic atm

I hope so too but I don't have a good feeling about this. If they take these detailed breakdowns away from us as well.....

After all, Semi 1 wasn‘t that much of a bloodbath as felt beforehand since 9/10 qualifications were pretty clear and only 2 countries had a chance for qualifying.

you‘re right, but I fear there‘s no way of preventing that dynamism

The conclusion of the commentators on ORF/FM4 Olli Schulz and Jan Böhmermann on the whole show:

Schulz: "There are no limits to creativity."

Böhmermann: "Unfortunately."
