The political part is about whether to participate or not. She explicitly said she does not want netherlands to win again
Well, are they really trying? The Netherlands needs mysterious little people in clogs and tonedeath influencers if they want to even qualify.

I was also thinking about that today. That it would be better to have quarters with 7-6-7-6 positions.

I don't know, I guess if no one complains about it (from the delegations), they will probably keep it as it is.
I would love to see a draft. Basically, take the average placement of each concerned country for the last 5 years, let the worst placed one pick its running order, then the next one, and so on. I know it's not gonna happen, but it would solve "the problem of 5 ballads in a row" and also all of the currently priviledged countries could get a nice reality check.

But yeah, splitting into quarters could be a nice move forward.

Besides his catchphrase what I hate about Österdahl is how he allows a script that lets the hosts swoon over him. What a low profile silly dude. Oh, Mister Österdahl, could you please fuck me before I announce the first qualifier?

You're good to go!

Ugh, ugh, and the first... qualifiuuuuugh is.... slooo.... slowowww... woww ...wenyeaaaaah

The secondhand embarrassment I had by reading this

I can't stand Spanish eurofans anymore. I'm not a fan of Eaea, and when I say that, I always find an angry Spanish that either insults me or Italy.
I read a comment recently in which a Spaniard said "don't vote for Italy because of what they said last year on Chanel" (referring to Malgioglio's comments)... what? Why should Marco pay for what ONE PERSON PERSON said?
There is always some Spaniard that compares Blanca Paloma and every other contestant, saying that the latter is not good and Blanca is.

I know that you Spaniards on this forum are not that toxic, but I'm tired. I thought that we misbehaved back in 2021, but this is way more loud.

I am so nervous. If Sweden wins I’ll cry and if we lose I’ll cry as well

Wow, you must be too young then to have seen Sweden win. Me crying over Austria winning wouldn’t happen to me again. And Portugal 2017 was the real deal.

:de: finishing last is very disappointing (but like I wrote in the :de: thread, it doesn´t make me sad because I think they delivered a great performance and it was a competitive GF) but I´m already fed up with all "Germany pays for this and no one votes for us because of politics" comments and "(Eastern) European countries vote for each other".

Of course, we can be gutted about specific results but the overall and combined Top 10 is great, imo and I can´t see hear "any pattern":
#1 :se:
#2 :fi:
#3 :il:
#4 :it:
#5
#6 :ua:
#7 :be:
#8 :ee:
#9 :au:
#10 :cz:

Of course, it´s Nordic-driven but it´s not like they "only voted for each other" - :se: got points from each individual jury and :fi: got an average score of <10pts from each country in the televoting....

In fact, it´s another year in which "Easter European countries" got criminally underrated, imo.

The rest of the world is basically a diaspora vote. Not so necessary tbh

I didn‘t know Israel, Sweden and Finland had such a big diaspora…
Or are you referring to the SFs? (didn‘t check the ROW-votes there)
