This!

I said it from the beginning, she is just trying hard to repeat Euphoria, the performance is so similar that it becomes obvious. Unfortunately, Tattoo as a song itself does not even come closer than 30% of Euphoria’s catchiness. And I also feel like she would win even if she sang Ireland’s song while Ireland singing Tattoo would flop. Portugal was waaaayyy better.

Mimicat is the Monika Liu of 2023. Barely any staging but the POOSAY energy is exploding. xqueenbitch

I’ve had an even worse fate than walking across the country I’ve had to go to Sheffield!

My condolences.

It could be worse though, you could have stayed on the train (if it went that far) and ended up here in Grimsby or even Cleethorpes.

The vanguard of ORF, who are preparing everything for the commentary of FM4/ORF on Saturday, describe what they experienced yesterday:

Arrived in Liverpool, first checked in, got accreditations, briefly stopped by at the dinner of the Austrian delegation, and then with the same kilo heavy technical backpack into the M&S Bank Arena. Failed several times to find an entrance through which we could get into our commentators' booth to check the technical equipment for Saturday, when Jan Böhmermann and Olli Schulz will host the Eurovision Song Contest for FM4. Once completely gone around the whole venue, the people here on site are all super sweet and super friendly, but often could not show us the right way and help further. Ten minutes before the start of the semi-final, we finally made it to the Austrian commentator's booth thanks to the help of the BBC and the team on site. The motto of the 67th Eurovision Song Contest is "United by Music" - and one almost wants to add: "Divided by Brexit". Roaming charges and passport checks, somehow everything was simpler before.

i don’t understand the relevance of Brexit about passport checks as the uk was never in Schengen whilst they were an eu member

The footage from the qualifiers announcement in the arena.

You can see Germany, Italy and France (?) seated at the corner besides Israel/Czechia.
Pay attention to how Marco (from Italy) and Chris (Germany) reacted to the qualifiers.
They seem pleased with Switzerland (1.40), Israel (3:33) and Norway (6.29).

Bless part of the Maltese delegation jumping up before realising it's Moldova and not Malta.

edit: already mentioned above. :'D

I´m sorry if this question has been asked before (but I just came back home after work and a seminar)....

Am I (as a German) being allowed to vote in tomorrow´s SF2 as part of the Rest of the World vote.
On the official page I only found that piece of information:
You can vote on www.esc.vote with any valid payment method in any country that is not participating in the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.

All I know is the page detects from what country you are. So I would guess you can vote but maybe it counts as a vote from your country. Also they take a look from which country the credit card is.
