I absolutely adore the Clara Amfo interviews.
I´m glad that we got something similar to "Nikki"´s interviews.

The little "games" are quite a nice and lovely addition as well.

I just wish the studio would loo ka bit more comfortable.

Tomorrow, the Big 5 countries will get to know in which halves they´ll have to perform next week.

Since we already got :ua: and :uk: performing in the 2nd half... does it mean that there´s only "one spot in the 2nd half left" for the Big 5 countries?

No. In the past few years they let the big 5 pick from every spot, so the rest could all draw 2nd half also.

That is actually a myth that keeps popping up every year. Since their comeback in 2011 Italy got a better place with the juries 5 times and with the public 6 times. It's pretty much even + usually there is only a difference of a few places.
That is true but somehow in 2015 Italy didn't win because of the juries.
The televote was one of the highest ever.

That´s great to read! - Personally, I think that all Big 5 countries "deserve" to be drawn into the 2nd half this year

Voting was either political or it showed clear divide in tastes and cultural understanding of music between different blocs.

I believe it's a bit of both - friendly voting combined with cultural mindset and taste. Eventually I think it skews the chances towards the winner coming from the former West, given the larger worldwide exposure of their music, and the prequalifiers all coming from there as well. There's a reason we hadn't had any former "Commie country" win in the last 10 years besides the (very much deserving) Ukraine.

But what the heck, even a skewed Eurovision is better than none (speaking from both political and fan perspective). Bring Slovakia and some of the Balkans back and it should all work out just fine :)

Well this will be interesting tomorrow.
Hoping at least 2 of Germany, France and Spain draw 2nd half, as I like all of these. OR if 1st half hoping that they aren't put on very early .
Italy I don't really care about.

Seeing a lot of hopeful tweets for La Zarra winning...I like the song but I still struggle to see it winning...I don't see it getting the televote support it would need...I could see it coming 5th or 6th in televote but I don't think that'll be enough. Also I need to see how she manages the vocals combined with the staging, to see whether she has a chance of winning or coming 2nd in jury.

Sweden must not win for the sake of Eurovision. 2 years of Martin Österdahl have already ruined rehearsal week for press, fan sites and fans at home, with restricted access, rehearsals behind closed doors and ShitShat App from China. But EBU is failing their own compliance rules, when it comes to juries so they abolish them altogether in the semis, which already led to a decline in quality this year. Every time Sweden hosts, there is a terrible reform.
