This thread is for any general Eurovision 2023 discussion not limited to or specifically about any country's national selections or song choices.
Tomorrow, the Big 5 countries will get to know in which halves they´ll have to perform next week.
Since we already got and performing in the 2nd half... does it mean that there´s only "one spot in the 2nd half left" for the Big 5 countries?
That is true but somehow in 2015 Italy didn't win because of the juries. That is actually a myth that keeps popping up every year. Since their comeback in 2011 Italy got a better place with the juries 5 times and with the public 6 times. It's pretty much even + usually there is only a difference of a few places.
No. In the past few years they let the big 5 pick from every spot, so the rest could all draw 2nd half also.
Voting was either political or it showed clear divide in tastes and cultural understanding of music between different blocs.
Well this will be interesting tomorrow.No. In the past few years they let the big 5 pick from every spot, so the rest could all draw 2nd half also.

Not necessarily, 5 out of the last 8 winners came from the first half. The producers wouldn't dare to mess with a favorite, so they would likely place it near the end of the half (10-13)That's unfortunate
