You know what? 2023 definitely wasn't the year of bands. Out of no country did well. I thought at least one of them will do well.

Maybe it's some kind of Maneskin effect that people are not ready yet for another band success at Eurovision, I don't know. Or maybe we just had to many bands overall and that's why none of them had the chance to really stand out.

Vocals SHOULD (imo) be one of their top priorities as the public tends to just go for the flashy shows instead. I mean ...

Only in a sense if you can deliver your song or not.
Mia Dimisic is a pretty bad singer, that especially becomes obvious when she tries to sing covers, but she knows her limitations and can deliver her little songs quite good.
Nobody was complaining or talked to much about her vocals last year.

I'm happy that Gustaph got his flowers. Imo it was one of the better performances of the night and the song is just fun. It's a cute bop. I'm also happy for Belgium. They haven't had a great result in a while.

The difference here is that I don't get offended by MopMan's comments because unlike you, he's not a little vicious person who insults people because they don't like the song their bad taste fanwanks for, even after people try to explain to you logically by objective arguments, with full respect and kind words, their position.

Unlike MopMan who's just direct, sarcastic and funny, strong-opinioned but gets over himself quickly, you're just mean and act as victim after you offend and humiliate people on personal level.

Isn't it strange that detailed voting results have not yet been published? I’m referring to rankings per jury member of each country and complete televote ranking by country. Like this for 2022: https://eurovision.tv/event/turin-2022/grand-final/results

Also, I couldn't find the official jury list, with names of jury members by country. When clicked on Jurors this message appears: “The Juries have been published in a random order on the results pages.” Link: https://eurovision.tv/event/liverpool-2023/grand-final/jury

Every year EBU publishes these results during the night after the finals, but this year there is still nothing.
It seems very strange.
Or did I miss something? Searched on the wrong pages?

I'm also very curious about that.
I want to know if they were all personally giving Loreen 12s like candy or didn't she ended up with so many 12s as sum of middle-high points.

Why does Ireland only have 4 jurors? That's kinda strange

I watched last night in a bar packed with people and obviously people supported Finland and Sweden more than other acts. Belgium was also popular, Italy too. It was a good show, very professional and slick.

I am happy with the winner although even I voted for Finland and wanted Finland to win, but we all kinda knew Sweden will get this. I understand there is a big gap between Sweden and Finland when it comes to the televote, but this is not first nor last time we will have this. Also, it's not Loreen didn't get support: she came second so I really don't understand all this drama. We have 50+50 system and such outcomes shouldn't be surprising.

Finally, I don't support the idea of jury removal, no way. I still don't like the fact juries have been eliminated from semi finals.

Anyway, great performance and congratulations Sweden, we know we will get a great show next year.

None of these were anywhere near the same level as Måneskin though.

Exactly, all these rock songs were quite good. Latvia's was also quite innovative.

But neither clicked all the right boxes as Zitti e buoni did, such as

1. Exceptionally well written melody / chords with catchy tune and powerful breakdown

2. Great vocalist

3. Superb staging
