And then award a lot of points to Australia, haha.
It's not the producers who gave them points, it was the juries. Both AUstria and Australia were televote favourites, but they both got really unfavourable spots. If they had gotten a better spot, I am pretty sure they could have both cracked top 7.

Another thing that baffles me is how the Producers can look at Austria and Australia, two countries that came first and second in their semi and go, let us give them shit running orders that will kill all their chances of success.
Allegedly they don't know the semi results when making the running order. But they could have assumed that both of these did well anyway

Aren't San Marino's "televoting" results aggregated anyways?
I always thought they were aggregated with Italy and Albania's scores, but someone else just said that they use juries instead.
They use the juries as a backup when a country can't provide valid televoting results, in the case of a 100% televoting show, like the semi-finals this year.
For a 50%/50% show, like the Final, they use the aggregate televoting results from countries in the same pot, in order to produce a simulated televoting result. Otherwise the San Marinese jury voting would be counted twice, and they'd have double the voting power than the rest of the jurors, which would be ridiculous.

SF 2 results are the craziest thing I’ve seen in a long time.

Producers made :at: and :au: very dirty with the RO, based on that result.

:fi: giving :0: points to :se: in the telovting? Like what the actual fuck?

This contests results are just to much for me in every single aspect.

Call it conspiracy theory again but how is it possible that none of the people voting for :au: and :at: in the semis voted for them again in the final? :ROFLMAO: I would have understood if let’s say Germany got a lot of points so one could think they "stole" them from Australia but no.

They all disappeared or voted for Finland in the final.

Not saying that screwing over Austria and Australia was the right thing to do BUT do we really want the producers to go strictly by SF results? This year, they were sooo lopsided. SF2 winner was clearly worse than some of the outside Top 5 finishes in SF1 and everyone knew it...

Seriously, they should just draw it all again.

I know juries gave them the points, but jury producer EBU Österdahl The Ghost Of Björkman… all the same :ROFLMAO:

You souldn´t forget that the semifinals are watched by far fewer people and the "bubble" is making up a much larger part of that audience than in the final where more "outside viewers" are present.

Well they went from running orders of #16/16 and #13/16 to #15/26 and #01/26, for one.
Also, they went from a beyond terrible semi-final with an awful line-up of songs when it comes to televoting power, to a much stronger field. Proven by the fact that all the countries that did well with the televoting in the final came from the first semi-final/direct qualifiers.

Flashbacks to 2012 where the first 8 songs were slow ballads and everyone fell asleep.

Imagine if the votes announced in detail during the show were actually the public's (which I actually believe they should be tbh), Kaarija celebrating every two minutes as he's awarded eighteen 12s and then Sweden wins it without a second's screen time (they received not a single public 12) because of 185 jury members. It's honestly astonishing to think about it. I'm disappointed. I knew Sweden would win and I'm not for a second going to knock Loreen or her talents (she's a phenomenal performer) but the jury having this much power to override such a humongous public favourite who topped the public vote by a landslide just doesn't sit right with me.

:de: only gave her :1: xD

I love Loreen but what kind of winning entry is this?!

The kind of sour winner who sat listening to the audience chanting someone's else name pretending she's surprised she had won.

She's got 10's from televote of following countries:

1. Norway 🤣
2. Iceland 🤣
3. Denmark 🤣
4. Estonia 🤣
5. Belgium 🤣

And 4 more only to whose artists Swedish producers write songs:

1. Malta
2. Albania
3. Australia
4. Azerbaycan

I just can't!!!!
