103 people died due to Corona virus in Northern Italy today.
Germany wants to forbide all events with over 1,000 people.

I haven't panicked before.. Now I do....

It's no longer a suggestion, it's an order.

The thing is that Eurovision will start in the beginning of May due to the opening ceremony, the rehearsals.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that Eurovision won't be delayed or cancelled and that the bans of France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy will not exceed a month.

Sweden be like "heeey we still chillin with 30k ppl you guys are sooo lame"

That was last night, though, personally, I think that the situation has dramatically changed since 133 people in Italy died within the last 24 hours.
I guess that's why Central European governments have become more worried than before.

But it feels partly like a xenophobic reaction. The death portion of the virus is below 4%, with a closed recovery case of 60k per 110k cases. It's actually a pretty normal death rate, but there is media hype anyways so it blew bigger than supposed. It's nearing summer and seems like it'll fade day by day starting from mid-March.

Let’s hope it doesn’t happen in the UK as I’d be out of work :)

I agree apart from the xenophobia part.
But if governments cancel it, we cannot do anything about it. It's not in our hands.
I'm actually devastated. I'm almost 100% sure that my Evanescence/Within Temptation concert will be cancelled :(

A death rate of about 3% is what historians think the Spanish flu had. Calling that ‘pretty normal’ when normalcy is pegged at your typical seasonal flu (0.1% or so) seems abhorrent to me.

The Mamas are my no1 now..

Let's see what can remove them from that place:

San Marino: Yeah I love Super SenHIT and everybody know that.. There is some possibility she can be my no1 with both songs..

Azerbaijan: "Cleopatra" seems like a silly fun, but no, it cant me my no1

Russia: Hmmmm, there are some, quite small though possibilities to be my new no1

Malta: There are some possibilities as well..

It could've been worse, but it's actually not as worse as it is, remembering that technology to treat the virus is already way more advanced than what it is now (of course because Spanish flu happened 102 years ago in a population of 1.08 b). The way we see Coronavirus really got bent from how media paints it like a very huge evil thing. Really, not saying that it shouldn't be worried about, we should just worry less.
