San Marino is official, Montenegro is almost there. So we have 2 possible participants left - Slovakia and Hungary.

I thought Slovakia has officially withdrawn? No????

I'm hoping for Hungary and Montenegro though. 43 would be a great number!

^ They are in provisional list :)
*praying for a sponsor*

on the other hand their ESC site went down so it's not a good sign. I doubt about Slovakia the most.

Who doesn't... I actually hope it'll be a different number to what we've ever had - 41 or 44, though I'd clearly prefer 44... I'd survive another 42 or 43 but it's getting annoying. xrofl3

44 countries would be soo cool! :) Hoping for a record-breaking!

I cross my fingers mostly for a Hungarian comeback and Slovakian re-consideration; Eurovision just feels weird with an empty space right in the middle of the European map, if just Czech Republic would re-consider aswell :(

Well, I think it's pretty safe to say that if a country said no from the beginning, they might had some reason for doing so.

Bad news though.

Still crossing fingers for Hungarian return and Slovakian re-consideration though, but it's not looking too bright now that that would happen.

Yeah, cause they only have until Dec 25th to withdraw (without having to face a penalty) so to me that's an indication they're in ;)

Agree about the above. I mean if they would just be out then why make a fuss about it? Maybe they will announce something more and that's why they're waiting.

Rumour has it that the Slovakian broadcaster has negotiated with the EBU and they will be in. Out of 44 that applied so far Montenegro is the only one to have backed out in the last few days left for definite confirmation.

Maybe there'll be another unexpected one? For instance, Monaco, Luxembourg, Czech Republic or even Andorra decides to get back in the running?

Andorra would not participate because of low funds and Czech Republic will not do because not much people is in to Eurovision there.
