Albania is no joke

I know they beat :pl:, but that alone shouldnt be enough for Pot 2 of 4 imo.
But I know all Group Winner are put in Pot 1 or 2, so...

Sure this is no indicator because crappy underperforming team (bunch of people tired from sitting on benches) should not have another chance, play-off should be illegal.

I mean no team that qualified directly is a joke and Albania is going to be a dark horse

True. With 24 Countries its too easy to qualify nowadays. I remember 2004 when :lv: qualified. That was really impressive...
I miss the good old Times with 16 Countries.

That's where the English (and German) team will camp during the Euro. And only 30 minutes away from my home.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for Georgia --- may they surpass peoples' low expectations!

This looks absolutely beautiful

Georgia has a competent squad, good chemistry in the team and some strong individual players like Kvaratskhelia, Mikautadze, Kiteishvili, Sazonov, amazing goalie with Mamardashvili (hoping we can get him in Bayern to securise the future after Neuer)

They won't get destroyed

But Georgia has yet to prove they can compete on that level. Their qualification campaign wasn't better than any of their previous campaigns. Below-average European level that Georgia has typically represented.

If a penalty shoot-out win against Greece and a draw against a lazy already qualified Scotland side (both on home ground) is the best results a team has achieved in the last couple of years I am doubtful they can be more than a makeweight in the Euro.
Fair enough they convincingly beat last Euros debutant North Macedonia twice.
Having said that I am always excited to see a debutant on the big international stage :)

And I am also excited to read your guys tournament predictions. I think I will wait until a few days before the cup begins... especially my country Germany is such a surprise bag. I will first wait to see if they can repeat their good March performances in the next two friendlies

I decided to do my check on how Euro 2024 would end if the last result between two teams were counted. Here are the results:

GROUP A

GROUP B

GROUP C

GROUP D

GROUP E

GROUP F

Third place ranking

ROUND OF 16

QUATERFINALS

SEMIFINALS

FINAL

Hope you find it entertaining, cause it doesn't mean anything of course! :D
