Italy will be very weak at euro 2016. No Verratti and Marchisio. I think we will achieve 3rd in that group stage and then Portugal will knock us out

Italy national team did always have mental strength especially in knock-out matches. If you meet Portugal I think you would beat the sh*t out of them cause you are always improving in matches like this. Italy can compensate individual lacks by team spirit and tactical cleverness while Portugal is a bunch of individualists that just rely on CR. It seems to me that for Italy the biggest obstacle is actually the Group Stage cause you always need several games to start your "engines" However as soon as you made it to the Round of 16 you are able to gain a momentum that leads you even to the final. But that's just my opinion.
Just mind that injuries of allegedly important players give the chances to young players to prove theirselves on a big stage. We (Germany) played the World Cup 2010 without Ballack (who was still our captain back then) and became 3rd place. In 2014 we played without Reus (who was the best attacking player in the season before) and become world champions.

Different topic, :is: already announced their squad for the Euro tournament:

No really big surprises. it's a little surprise that Rurik Gislason as an very experienced player will have to stay at home. Then again, he was injured most parts of the season and when he was fit he didn't show anything good on the pitch. Vidar Örn Kjartansson is another player I would expected to be in the squad but he is unlucky that Iceland has enough quality strikers. Great to see that Iceland's legend Eidur Gudjohnsen will finally take part in a big tournament. I guess he didn't even dream that this day would still come. Wonderful story. He can help his teammates with his aura, his pure presence and experience.
I'm curious to see how Iceland's shooting star Arnor Traustason will perform. He's not a starting eleven player but people should definitely watch out for him. He's the certainly the best winger of Swedish league (Rapid Vienna already bought him for next season though) :)

Portugal will be very weak at Euro 2016. No Coentrão and Danny. Oh wait.

I hope that the risible transfer of 24 year old (being nice now) all-hype-no-talent Sanches to Bayern does not become an influencing factor to Fernando Santos when announcing the squad. I also hope that Bayern realize the scam they were victims off sooner than later. 35M for a player who did 10 matches & 0 goals for the B team of Benfica last season xrofl Brilliant fraud, must be said.

Also, no idea if any of you is already in or would like to start their collection, but this is a pretty cool way of warming up for the Euro in case you are not completing the actual non-virtual album: https://onlinestickeralbum.paninigroup.com/

I am nearly done with my collecting, but I am willing to help anyone out plus I can create a group for the forum in case anyone is interested (let me know your nicknames in case you join/want to take part in the group).

3-0 win against

That was decent. Adrien must be on the starting 11. Raphael Guerreiro just confirmed what I've thought about him for years now, he'll be a top player in the future. Great left-back that actually knows how to defend. And of course, attacks very well too and is pretty sharp at set pieces. Barcelona's interest is no coincidence at all.

On the other hand Éder finally scored his 3rd goal for the national team in 25 matches xrofl Just 4 more to equal his likely idol, Emile Heskey!

Oh and the director's focus on Sanches even though he didn't play a full half was sickening. And the way people scream when he touches the ball...ugh. It's Pedro Mantorras all over again.

:de: - :sk: 1:3 xshifty

We played with a second strong side. We had an early lead and then we missed 3, 4 very good chances to score the second goal. Out of the blue Marek Hamsik equalized and then we lost our organization and conceded the second goal few minutes later. In the second half the pitch was drenched because of heavy rain so the ball consistenly stopped, the players were slipping all the time. It was kinda funny to watch this but ofc it had little to do with football. Around 50th minute our second keeper Ter Stegen made a big blunder (like he does literally in every match for Germany xfacepalm ) and it was 1:3. Shit happens.
Our post-world cup record is devastating. We lost 4 of the last 6 matches xcrazy Nevertheless I'm not too worried. After all we are Germany

Looking forward to this :) Only seems like yesterday since it was Euro 2012

I'm feeling reasonably optimistic about England's chances, obviously we don't have a hope in hell's chance of winning, but I think we have the opportunity to do better than we have done lately in the Euro's/World Cup. Hodgeson's picked a good team I think, and finally we're rid of the last of the 'old boys', well apart from Rooney...

I usually like David Guetta's work, but this song is crap imo :(

Yes, I was excited when they announced him as the official artist, but this song is such a letdown. If it was a regular DG song, I wouldn't mind it, but I'd rather them to coop with Shakira again, know she is more the World Championships, but still she does a great job.

I wish they would just recycle this song for every tournament:

It is still the best! xbow

Not only the official Euro song but also the German Euro song is totally crap although prominent artists like Felix Jaehn and Herbert Grönemeyer made it. This one:

It simply doesn't sound like football and not even like summer xshrug
