whiteshoes Loved to realize that Ulster made it to pot 4 this year  :p

Well done to both nations that have gone through tonight which were in my preferences list. Only :ie: ruined my possible future career as fortune teller there.

I particularly enjoyed to see the intensity in this 2nd hand match between Slovenia and Ukraine. That kind of passion in and outside the field. That was pure love for the game and is a joy to see that sort of complete dedication to the sport. It felt contagiously moving to me. For this reason Eastern European nations have my respect for always giving their all. So I extend a bravo to both Bosnia and Slovenia as well.

The Scandinavians start to develop this sort of connection to the game as well. The support for the Swedish national team in Denmark looked mega.

On saturday evening (18 CET) finally the draw for the Euro 2016 will be held.
With this tool you can do a draw simulation:

I'd love to see a group like this

:de: (my home country)
:at: (Nice country/team, rivalry with Germany. Moreover they have 2, 3 players I like a lot especially Junuzovic and Arnautovic) / :it: (our "nemesis". One day we gotta beat them. In addition I have Italian roots)
:se: (beautiful country with nice culture, nice fans and of course Zlatan)
:is: (my favorite country xlove )

Looking from the :is: perspective I would ofc prefer :at: as the group opponent. :it: is probably not beatable for them

Germany vs. Turkey at my draw as well...Would be an..."interesting"...group. And the favourites of all germans would be clear in that group

But hell if we have to face Italy in the 1/8th finals xfaint

I must say - all these "groups of death" and so on are irrelevant in the end. Look at the latest World Cup where a group with Uruguay, Italy, England, and Costa Rica was considered to be a group of death. Of course, most people wondered which two of: Uruguay, England, and Italy would go through. And... we all know how it ended

To sum up - it doesn't matter who you play against because football is too unpredictable ;)

The group E & C are the most difficult ones!! but the B & D are a open game (considering that Spain isn't that strong like before..)

So many possbilities and :de: gets such a boring group xfacepalm

:pl: is probably the strongest team we could get from Pot 3 and I expect an exciting match but we already faced them in the Qualification so I hoped for some other opponents :p

:ua: is very decent especially their wingers Konoplyanka and Yarmolenko can hurt every other team. However, for me there were more attractive teams in Pot B

Northern Ireland we must beat. Their football abilities are very limitied they are mainly a fighting and defending team. I would guess their matches won't be nice to watch.

Very happy that :is: got a lucky draw. :hu: is a team they can beat and Austria, despite being amazing in Qualification, is nothing more than decent. 4 points from these matches and they can go to Round of 16 xheat

Watching England get rinsed by Gareth Bale will be pleasing.

Ohhh well at least we're there alongside the two other loyal nations :D More than can be said for some others

Wow, coming into a section you never enter just to respond to me. I feel special!

Also, taking the piss out of our national team for sucking is kind of wasted energy. We know how much we suck. We're the best bottlers in the land!
