Inger's failed kiss cam is the funniest thing I watched in a long time. That thing was funnier than any joke act ever sent to Eurovision. Just send this to Rotterdam for the gag. Hottest mess ever, Bulgaria 2009 who?

It took me all evening to understand what a "kiss cam" was and wondered why there was a big heart on the screen. Why is this even a thing to begin with? It's corny as heck!

Learn it from the Goddess.:love::love: The one and only kiss cam that matters.

This also was my absolute Favorite, besides Ziggy Wild - Lean on me, which also didn´t qualify yesterday :-(

So, Uku or Jaagup, Jaagup or Uku, I don't think anyone else stands a chance at this point. I didn't really mind Uku's song in studio version, cheesy as it was, but the live version left me very unimpressed. Somehow all the power seemed sucked out of it. Crappy static staging, strained vocals, bland and unimpressive all around. At this point it feels like a potential NQ if it gets chosen. As for Jaagup.. Beautiful Lie doesn't really grab me as a song, and all the 'inspiration' he's taking from different things is annoying. But at least his live version was well staged and interesting to look at. Probably the better choice out of these two, but I don't trust our televoters to pick him. :cautious: I suspect they'll go for the cheap cheesy schlager as usual, given the option.

Can we just send Shira instead? Glad she managed to make the final. :giggle: Give her an actual staging too, rather than a pointless piano that's on screen for 10 seconds and a cranked up wind machine. There's surely more they could have done with the space theme, some interesting backdrops or lighting effects or something. Oh well, she's not likely to be winning anyway. *sigh* If juries sink Uku it'll probably be Jaagup, and if they don't it'll probably be Uku. I guess it's possible, if Uku gets sunk, that his voters will go for someone other than Jaagup and sway the results in the superfinal. In which case maybe someone like Rasmus will benefit. Synne could take his spot too, but it's hard to imagine a scenario where Uku is sunk by juries but Synne somehow isn't. Oh well, not too long until we find out which way the cookie crumbles. Can we steal Lithuania's song instead and send them Uku in exchange?

I think bad news for Uku is that Synne will get some of his votes as a televote wank during the Final. So if Jury drops him to 5th or 6th then 3rd or even 2nd place in televoting may not be enough.

I'm operating under the assumption he'll win the televote. In which case he'd probably need to be bottom 3 with juries to be kept out of the superfinal. Which is not impossible, looking at the songs in the final.. plenty of jury friendly stuff I imagine will score higher than him. I can see Synne and Laura being lower tho'. It will all be down to the juries anyway.. maybe the ones in the final will love him, who knows. Or maybe our televoters will actually go for Jaagup since his act was clearly the more interesting one. But looking at our previous voting patterns, I'm not overly hopeful.

I think What Love Is could work pretty well.. if it was sent by Russia. They'd throw enough money at it to make it work. Impressive staging, probably with some sort of gimmick, to mask the cheesy banality of the song itself. Lots of guaranteed points wouldn't hurt either. But coming from us.. it's budget-Lazarev with budget-staging, not half as expensive and shiny as it needs to be.

Leaving out the copycat thing (which televoters dont care about), "Beautiful Lie" is a better song/performance than "Storm" last year, while "What Love Is" is way worse compared to "Pretty Little Liar", so if people vote for Uku now it will be such a bummer.

I think/hope we (as a nation) are smarter than that!

well people are still voting for stefan even if his past two entries are way weaker than laura (walk with me) so i wouldn't be surprised with uku snatching some votes as well

:ee: send Traffic, Jaagup or Egert xpray ... Estonian results are rarely surprising, so I guess Jaagup is going to Rotterdam... His performance is very good, I just hope he learns to hit that high note until May

Tumblr, mostly.
Oh yeah I didn't post about it but Heartwinder was wonderful, if completely chanceless. Yeah, I know it was trash and German was SUCH an unhibited dork dad throughout (lol isn't he 19), but idc. I cannot wait until he evolves into a Dominic in about 5 years xheart

But more importantly, the semi confirmed to me that Jaagup is good(ish) and I'm okay with him winning (and he WILL win. This is somehow even less of a contest than last year's EL was). Godspeed Estonia and please sack Tomi Rahula before I have to relinquish your "Good ESC Country" status.

I would be careful to not write off INGER yet given all the main challengers are really poor. There might not be enough to get to the Super Final because of the jury, but if the Super Final was reached i could see Only Dream having a great chance. Its probably a set top 3,but when its as low quality as this year there is sometimes a song that goes past them all.If there was one i suspect it would by INGER,
