I enjoyed the Majakad performance very much, but sadly I started to see its chances slip after watching it. I don't feel like it was enough. There needed to be more going on. More there visually to leave its stamp on the viewer. Synne performed the song very well, as did her boys but I would have liked to have seen more exciting camera work and a stronger take on the song's theme. Ok, we had the stormy sea background, and on second viewing I noticed the lights behave like that of a lighthouse at times, but I want it bigger, more full on. I feel it wasn't exuberant enough. Also Synne's dress was blending too much into the sea. She needs to be the lighthouse for our sailor boys.

As I said, Synne was saving money on the staging last night, so she can afford the lighthouse for the final

@RainyWoods Maybe "Majakad" needed more staging, but I thought it was rather decent compared to many others last night: she had moving lights, the sea in the background, accordions, her personal sailors... And mum was working those cameras (did anyone see the wink?). Given what we had in Eesti Laul visually last year, I don't expect elaborate presentations from the new team. It's not what it once was, although I feel it improved this time.

Also, there always are staging improvements between the semi and the final. I don't expect the product to change that much, but who knows? Maybe the boats and life-size rocks they ordered did not arrive on time on Thursday

Ziggy Wild have lots and lots of pyro and Laura's got her red leather fringed jacket out so I'm optimistic about them actually being able to make the final
