Yes, they shared the points, but in the same way we benefited from Latvia, Lithuania and Finland. They boosted us from last place to avoiding bottom 5 in 2005. I don't think that we tried hard with Let's Get Loud, Through My Window and Partners In Crime. In fact, it was definitely our dark time in participation history.

Yeah, it's time to put the idea to rest that the mid-2000s Estonian songs were good and just not appreciated by Europe. Other than Tii, which was an innovative piece of music and almost got to the final, all the other songs were forgettable or dated (and in Kreisiraadio's case, deliberately bad) and deserved their result (though I'm not necessarily saying that other countries' songs that made the final were always worthy either). On the other hand, saying that something else, like Iseendale, Moonwalk or Iiris could've done better does make sense, and some of them likely would have; even Sven Lõhmus has basically said that he sabotaged himself with Let's Get Loud.

While I agree that Let's Get Loud and Through My Window were shit I thought Partners In Crime was quite good and Gerli's vocals were amazing. The worst thing about the first two is that we actually HAD better songs to send but then again the same could be said for some of the Eesti Laul years as well.

Bad news guys. Inga is sick today and Victor has overtaken her on Spotify Viral.

The good news is she's still the highest on the main chart, gaining 8000+ views a day on YouTube and if she fails at the final we can blame it on her being sick.

Wait I just remembered Laura was also sick at the final in 2017. Another good sign.

To me Tii is one of the worst choices we have made. So very country specific song that had no business going to represent us in Europe. To Europeans this must have looked just very weird and confusing.

I think the problem isn't Stig (he gave us GTY after all and many here loved In or Out), but the fact it sounds so much like the Avicii-influenced Swedish pop that was a thing in 2013-2015, but sounds tired in 2019. It's not gonna help that Sweden has already sent those black-haired commercial pop males for 4 years in a row, the fans are clearly tired of it.

I'd be fine with Stefan winning to be honest. Man can sing! The song reminds me too much of Cyprus 2017 for some reason, but I would probably be able to overcome these comparisons by May

Out of those 6 finalists ETV Pluss uploaded to Youtube, Uku is the only one who's crossed 1k views (compared to the few hundred views of the others) and does not have a single dislike. I think he still stands a chance to win.

ETV+ (russian language channel) shows Eesti Laul and if Russians living in Estonia actually care to vote, this could be a huge advantage for Uku. Does not take a lot to swing the result with such equal contest and if one segment of a nation drops behind one song that could be it.
