Yeah. Martin Osterdahl needs to leave tomorrow in the morning. From his hotel and Eurovision scene.
Worst supervisor ever.

Booed and whistled by an entire Arena, in his own country... This is what Eurofans think of the man right now. And something should tell him that if this reaction was this huge, he should consider resignation before he f***s up next editions too.

Well, in the end, we all thought Croatia would be the most convenient winner... It turned out to be Switzerland. It's amazing and it's worth it, Nemo's vocal performance was from over the moon.

But what I'm happier about: Israel ends fifth even with the terrific televoting boost (I'm French and I've received Eden's proposals for votes in Georgian, like hello?). Ukraine did amazing from the second spot. France has done good and I wasn't expecting that.

I'm frightened of two things now, and here's the Frenchman speaking:
- lots of right/far-right "supposed-to-be" columnists have pushed INCREDIBLY FAR for Israel in France. And, well, not in a good way: vote Israel to protest against nearly everything against Gaza's situation was disgusting (and yeah, Geert W*****s, I saw you too). Not that I was optimistic, I'm old enough and I know a little bit too much these people. But honestly, even to me, it was disgusting.
- take the same beginning... and turn it into some kind of "debates" about Nemo's non-binarism. It hasn't really happened here in France this year, but some "debates" about it some years ago were even more disgusting, and I can't imagine how painful it must be in many other countries about WOKISM like how they know how to define their own stupid concept. {and I prefer to stay shy about how 80% of these very same people thought about gay marriage ten years ago. I remember everything. I'm afraid they will be awful in the coming days.}

So, DARLINGS: our job is not done yet as Eurofans. Because EBU clearly doesn't care about mental health of Eurovision participants, we have to do their job. It will not be easy (and please no Dotter, I love you but it's not about a love song.) I'm gonna get some sleep now but I'm already frightened of what will be said in media when I wake up.

(PS: I don't remember which forum-lovely-regular hoped in this forum that journalists do not get infos here. Well, I know this job :) And no, journalists do not take infos here or on Wiwi forums. But promised (as I personally said to a young journalist): you're not a THAT bad source of infos. To take with maximum care, but not that bad.
Love you all xheart)

Thank Mother Earth, the Evil was defeated. I've got a feeling the results may have been different if Israel hadn't been threatening a televote win and juries hadn't conspired to bomb them (rightly, in my opinion). Still, let's be grateful for what we have.

(Now to ask my Swiss friend if she knows anyone who can put us up next year!)

I've never been more glad we have the juries and they tanked Israel big way.

Congratulations to Switzerland for their well-deserved victory. And not only to them, but also to Ukraine and their huge televote, Ireland and their outstanding 6th place, and to Portugal for their second top 10 in 3 years. And I can't forget about Croatia, I hope they don't give up and get their wished victory soon, they also did an incredible job!

By the way, ashamed my country awarded the 12 points to Israel, I really can't get to understand it...

This show will belong to the past quicker than we expect. The conflicts surrounding such a thing are always felt 1,000 times more intensely when it's happening than when it's over.

Judging by the reactions in Norway, it seems they have forgotten that qualifying for the final is always a success. :dk:

Why what are they saying?

Loreen was hated for being 2nd in the Televoting.
If there are no Double-Standards, Nemo will get even worse Treatment.
That's a relevant point! (Apart from the fact that I don't want anyone to be treated badly.)

It will be interesting to see - as you point out there isn't much difference between the two cases.

I get you point but after all it’s a 50/50 system, it’s as simple as that.

I would have preferred :hr: but I’m fine with :ch: too. Mostly important for me is that we have a country as the winner that never hosted before/ didn’t host in a long time.

Yeah but lets hope eastern country wins soon too bc they might lost motivation otherwise to participate

As martin is surely going to bye bye, maybe the ebu can make it right to croatia/the balkans/eastern europe by assigning someone from there for thd role for once?
