That's a quite unfair allocation already for the semifinalists. Why can't they allocate 3 into the first half, and 3 into the second?

That would actually be unfair to the Big 5. Everyone should have the same chance of getting whatever half. Everyone has the same chance of getting second half the way it goes now.

One of the hosts asked Dutch fans, if they were upset, because Israel won last year and not Netherlands xlol

Fun note: there was this exercise conducted a few years back where people were assigned into one of two groups, one of whom actually flipped a coin a hundred times and one of whom made up a hundred outcomes for a coin toss. The researchers were able to tell instantly who'd made up the coin tosses because the actual coin tosses were much more prone to lopsided patterns (e.g. six heads in a row, etc.) than the people who, paradoxically, were afraid that a bunch of the same result in a row would give them away. So yes, while I understand where Ezio is coming from, you are absolutely correct that if being as random as possible is the fairest outcome, a weird pattern will come up sometimes!

:lol::lol:

It would have maked a little sense if that question would have been given to fans from :cy:

He asked the same thing to portuguese fans and he said "last year you almost won"

The women that was pesenting the artists was actually ok and fun in an not awkward way. But she did presented Tamta as TamAta. hahaha

I'm watching the opening ceremony. I hope this is not a foreshadow of camerawork in the live shows. Also, the transitions and external broadcast hook-ups are working more bad than right.

As I already sighted in Amsterdam, Pænda and Kobi Marimi get along extremely well.

Sergey Lazarev forced his way into the picture at the end like Donald Trump during the NATO meeting.

The hosts were very friendly and approachable, but at times cringey. Like when the comedic host told the everyone he found his new husband (Jens) and when he cheered on the belarussian dancers when they performed their ass-splitting flips ("beautiful, beautiful"). The girl got so many Eurovision facts wrong and pronounced country names in a weird way (North Makedonia). But I felt uncomfortable when they told the favourites how high they were in the odds right now and or when they reminded Miki that Barcelona lost 0-4. (Why do have to tell me this? said Miki rightfully so).

I am jealous of Kobi. He lives right there around the corner. I want to live there too.

Tumblr, mostly.

I mean that's how the Macedonians pronounce it, so.

But yeah you could tell that Noa wench is Israeli because she had a very wonky way of pronouncing vowels. I realize that Hebrew doesn't spell out vowel sounds but.. "Bilal Hasooni"? "Zella and Gespard"? "Tamata"?? wtf woman. O_O

Also I want that Nadav guy dunked in acid before Israel imports free 5G WiFi connections and he starts a ESC Reactions Youtube Channel.

Watch them get the death slot #2.

I've never understood why people think: starting early = death slots. It's maybe a minor issue in the semis but in the final it absolutely doesn't matter when you start but rather NEXT TO WHICH country you start.

In earlier years you would win from every starting position because the slots were drawn randomly. These days of course (!) the winning song is mostly from the last positions of the second half because all favourites get the "best" slots (given they were drawn to the 2nd half).

I already explained it - to me starting very early isn't that bad because all people I know are getting tired after 15 songs and don't pay attention much then... maybe they look up when a favourite (or the own country) is announced and that's where the importance of performing before or after a favourite comes in. A weak song surely profits by this because people are still or already paying attention when a favourite or the own country is performing.

Just my opinion. Nothing to do with the sisters. Their "luck" depends on the countries before or after them.
But if you're good you will win from every slot!
