i am glad that schadenfreude was mentioned because... yes, it is a thing and it's valid? are all of you swedish flags throwing a tantrum on behalf of australia when obviously people felt more schadenfreude about their televote last place? on behalf of russia where even yulia's fragility didn't stop the frankly aggressive schadenfreude towards her NQ? on behalf of romania and azerbaijan for the reception their first NQs got? you guys ain't special lol. some people will root against you because of non-performance reasons. shit happens. people can feel however they want. i say this as someone who grew to love ingrosso and his song.

Overall, I have really good impression of the hosts this year, however, Silvia was terrible, why was she even there? She had way too many gaffes.

Also the Furtado was a bit gaffe prone "We have Hovig, yes, CYPRUS", but at least she was very charming and funny. Filomena and Daniela overshone the other two quite a bit.

Personally, I never feel joy on others expense and failures, except maybe for Trump and SD. And then it's more the ideas and the symbols they represent. I think one should distinguish between shit-talking and trash-talking (look it up if you don't get what I mean). Trash-talking is common in sports and for example in certain male companionships (perhaps even among females but I wouldn't know). It is a true sign of trust, love and friendship. Shit-talking is the direct opposite. Sometimes it's a balance between the two.

You mean because the televoters voted for so many bad songs? I would never vote for the most of the songs there myself, but I still believe that they have a right for their own choice and that the Jury has too much power.

i think the heartbreak is the realization il volo is the biggest televote entry of the century and didn't win. JURIES WE HATE YOU!!!!!! doubly so because this video is such a delight. the only entries i do not like are both 2001 entries and lane moje.

But on the other hand: televoters are the majority. And the Jury consists only of a few people who have too much power (50%) against this majority. Don't think it is fair.

Yes, that's true! In fact juries introduced back in 2009 to help countries with no neighbours or diaspora like Malta but after so many years juries mostly help some specific countries (Sweden, Australia, Austria, netherlands, Malta)! However i still htink that they are usuful because some countries like Malta would be nearly every year last in the semi-final.

In fact juries introduced back in 2009 to help countries with no neighbours or diaspora like Malta but after so many years juries mostly help some specific countries (Sweden, Australia, Austria, netherlands, Malta)! However i still htink that they are usuful because some countries like Malta would be nearly every year last in the semi-final.

If you are not so jury minded. I wanted to state that one of the less logical countries possible has this year been saved by juries: Albania. And also Denmark has for example been saved by the televotes. It's not the law!

In fact, there are many results this year that is really weird both in the final and in the semi, no "röd tråd" as we say in Swedish, you can´t see any kind of patterns at all between the split results in the semis and the final.

i won't begrudge sweden as #1 because only truly dislike two of their last ten entries and they were in years melfest was good and i just didn't like the winner. australia at #3 though? *hairflip*

i love how spain could not place lower than 26th by default since they are big 5 and they still placed only 21st. eurovision capital of incompetence.

Yes, many people are commenting about big 5, lol. I don't understand how this video is made in some points too, huge fans probably know how to made it, which parameters they use. I was confused with Bosnia at 9th place, because they are not competing few years in a row, and they were NQ last time they were at competition, and they are 9th here, I was surprised when I saw it. Not throwing shade, I just don't understand how of 10 years, they were not in the competition five years, and they still managed to achieve top 10 best countries. Same can be said about Australia, because they are in competition only for five years out of ten here mentioned.
