I looked back at last year's second rehearsal videos, to see how the pre-ESC frontrunner Italy performed... and yeah, Portugal, Bulgaria and Belgium was already head of Italy in second rehearsal view counts. Israel has by far the most rehearsal views, Cyprus is second, Greece is third. All three countries have more views than any of the frontrunners last year.

This can obviously change after the SFs, but if we see something similar with the SF performances and iTunes charts, Israel will win the televote with a huge lead.

Yes agree, it's pretty obvious. I wish Bulgaria had more momentum though.

Norway is ready to host ESC2019:

The Director General and staff at NRK have already begun discussing how the broadcaster could host the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 and ensure that the same issues that happened in 2010 do not occur. Speaking to the Stavanger Aftenblad, NRK staff commented: “I hope the NRK management has taken account of a possible Eurovision win and other costly productions, so this does not endanger the everyday production at the channel”

Of course, we just want the best (our way of doing things) to be spread as far as possible. You should be thankful for our efforts.

In the Final f.e. every German Jurymember will give
SQRT25 of 12 = 1.1045 Points to his least Favorite.
(SQRT25 of 12)^2 = 1.2199 Points to his second least Favorite.
(SQRT25 of 12)^3 = 1.3476 Points to his third Least Favorite
..
.
.
.
.
(SQRT25 of 12)^25 = 12 Points to his Favorite.

And then the 10 Countries who got the Most Points in the Sum from every 5headed Professional Jury will get 12,10,8-1 Points.

I've never heard of the phenomenon you describe and I find it quite unlikely. Why wouldn't the fans fancy the wonderful features our fine techs are inventing? For the common good!

It's not really fake news but almost. A local newspaper in Stavanger speculates in lack of preparations at NRK in case of a win. That's all.

You just propose that because these are the rules of Melodifestivalen.

Maybe or becuase I think these rules are actually good?

But the best would of course be to cancel ESC and invite all countries to Melodifestivalen, that is the only way to get the quality I want.
