i mean it would be easier to just have each of them choose a top 10 like it used to be but YES YES YES BRILLIANT FINALLY A GOOD EBU DECISION IL VOLO IS AVENGED
I'm slightly confused with the change in voting rules for the juries, what would be the difference if you look at the past two years? Would if benefit the lower ranked songs by the juries or boost their favs rather?
So if I understand correctly the new jury change helps songs that are polarising. Good news for Israel, Estonia, Hungary? Guess we might be going to Tel Aviv after all...
I think boost the country that is the fave by the most of them, for example if 4 of them like the song, it doesn't matter than 5th person don't love it.

Everyone says this would boost the more polarizing entries, but it sounds rather that it would boost the jury favorites which tend to be the safer choices no? Because I'd say chances (or risks depending on how you look at it) 4/5 juries will go for some safe entry are higher than 4/5 will go for the more daring choices, which naturally would mean that the "odd" 1/5 juror, that is thinking more out of the box, will have even less say?
Then Gothenburg 2019!
I hope not
Well Bulgarias Juryvote for Austria last year was [4,5,5,5,11] and for Greece it was [1,1,2,11,25]. With the Old Voting Austria received the 12 Points (Rankingsum 30) and Greece only 6 Points (Rankingsum 40). With the 2009-12 System Greece would have won the Juryvoting (34 Points overall) and Austria would have got 6 Points (27 Points). The New Voting should be near to the 2009-12 System so that Greece would get more Jurypoints in this example.

How do you count this? I saw your table the other side but wasn't entirely sure how to read it or how you figured out those numbers. What would be the 2016 results?
