I don't know what to think about the stage xthink Those lights all around are taking way too much space and it looks small indeed. It's a shame they kept recycling ideas this year (logo, motto, stage...). At least the platform where the artists will stand on should have been moved forward, now it seems like they'll have a "roof" above them.

I hope there are screens behind. And no catwalk? Is the greenroom still in front of the stage?

I want to see those lights "in action" since I doubt it could fit every act.

The green room is in the back of the arena as you can see in this pic:

There is a LED screen of course - it's just moved to the side in these pictures. Also the LED stage floor is still missing. And nope, there's no catwalk, just a so-called 'magic bridge of light' that will connect the stage with the green room during the opening.

I wonder how the artists will go to the greenroom though

i think it was mentioned quite often but once again the size of the stage: 44m in width, 26m in depth and the stage in the middle is 14 diameters.
the led screen is 26m width and can be opened (on the pictures it is openend) which gives the opportunity to enlarge the size of the stage. behind the screen there is a wall of floodlights. of course all of this will be synchronized to many different kinds of light effects. with some imagination.......
at least it will be something new - the led tubes synchronized with the led screen behind.
and its great that this year we get so many detailed information about the whole preparation process.

i'm afraid some performances will suffer from that stage (i think to the uptempo) and the lights won't work for everybody… that could put down some entries who won't be able to play/manage these lights tubes for their performances.

The whole tube lights up, that's good. I was worried it wouldn't. However I still really don't like this stage.

The LED screen is tiny and the cotton swabs make the stage seem even smaller than it already is. There's one positive though - they really made sure their concept was clear. This certainly looks like the construction site of a bridge.

The stage design looks really old fashioned but with a few modern elements added in xshrug

It certainly favors the songs that are more static

i actually really like this stage! i hated how in certain years the stage was so big that a lot of the performers were basically drowned by the size of it, but that doesn't look like it's going to be much of a problem this year. :D

I think some people are underestimating the size of the stage itself. Look at the worker who is walking on the stage - he seems like an ant.

It seems this is the technology used for the stage this year! So we have to wait to see the potential of this Eurovision :D
